@BabyG123 congratulations!! Amazing news!!

I think I might be out this month.... my ovulation is just not happening... 😢

Lindsey02 · 09/05/2020 10:48

Morning all

Hope you don’t mind me joining? I’m 35 and it’s my first month trying for baby number 2. I have irregular cycles which vary from 28-31 days. I had a +opk cd 15 and dtd cd12 and 14. I’m currently on cd 18 and the ewcm has gone today so I think that’s me done for this month.

Are any of you taking any vitamins?

BabyG123 · 09/05/2020 13:53

@Lindsey02 I'm exactly the same as you with the cycles and we just dtd every day from 2 days before to 2 days after (6 in a row 🤪) and I got a BFP! So good luck! And taking folic acid and have for a while.

@lilypad88 have you had any high readings?

lilypad88 · 09/05/2020 14:35

Hi @Lindsey02 never know! Fingers crossed for you! There is still a chance as long as no af in sight ;p

@BabyG123 yea, I've been on a roller coaster of high/low... I don't get it... first time since I'm taking opk that I had that, looks like anovulatory cycle so far :(

Hi all! Coming to join you on CD1 of cycle 6 ttc our first. Just had a good cry as I had convinced myself I was pregnant (I know, stupid!) but will be ready to brush myself off and start again once I've wallowed a bit this afternoon.

I'm 32 and really bloody hoping it happens soon!

lilypad88 · 09/05/2020 16:28

@BabyG123 thanks, don't have much hopes but I guess it could still happen since I usually have late ovulation anyway.. I just never had days of high and low like that before... so confusing

Oh yea, I started using it! I really like it! Thanks for the suggestion Smile But I need to buy the easy at home opk, don't know if they would work better than my cheapy amazon ones but it's worth giving it a try ^^

lilypad88 · 09/05/2020 16:34

@sausageface oh bless you, I'm the same as you, cycle 9 of ttc our first, turning 32 in a week time 😭 if that helps, after I cry it out, I try to tell myself it's a new month of opportunities, every cycle I try to improve something, working out a bit more, starting yoga to be less stressed, eating better, whatever works for you :) its helps focusing on something else for a bit at least... otherwise would be depressed 24/7 😫

But welcome! And good luck with your new cycle, hope this one is the one!🍀🙏🏻

sausageface · 09/05/2020 17:17

Thanks @lilypad88. Picked myself back up again, just needed a good cry. I'm back signed up with my old slimming club in-fact so really trying to throw myself into that. Will try and get back to my 10,000 steps a day too. This has fallen off the radar since I've been furloughed so it gives me an aim at least I suppose! I'm just so ready for it now though you know? That's what's so hard x

lilypad88 · 09/05/2020 17:46

@sausageface yes! Go on girl 💪🏻 healthy body, healthy mind! And that will defo help with fertility :)

yea, I know what you mean, I'm following so many baby stuff on instagram (I know I shouldn't... 🙈), this is how ready I am!

BabyG123 · 09/05/2020 19:22

@lilypad88 easy at home are amazon cheapies too. £15 for 50 ovulation sticks and 20 pregnancy tests. If you happen to be looking.

@BabyG123 yea I saw that, just bought some :) they seem a bit better than the one I have

MrsTtobe · 09/05/2020 22:36

Yayy! Congrats @babyG123 so many babies on here when will your due date be? 🥰

BabyG123 · 09/05/2020 22:53

@MrsTtobe thank you. Well with the due date calculator on the nhs site it said January 14th as I have long cycles. But I called to have a booking in appointment and said said 5th January as cycle length doesn't matter it is just the first day of your last period.

OP posts:
Nicola1201 · 10/05/2020 05:29

@BabyG123 congrats!! i am similar due date...i think! NHS calc says 16 Jan, but have GP appointment tomorrow. I had tested early and was concerned but ydayi got my clear Preg on Digital, so feel bit calmer. But still know its so early days so trying to not get too excited yet.

BabyG123 · 10/05/2020 07:07

Well I did a clear blue digital just now and it was 1-2 weeks which is 3-4 week so I think the nhs website does count

OP posts:
MrsTtobe · 10/05/2020 07:59

@babyG123 Could be a Christmas or new year baby then if it comes a week or so early. How exciting for you. Im currently on CD 33 if I count my CD 1 from my first day of miscarriage. I've got sore boobs and other mild symptoms of either pregnancy or AF on the way. Im thinking it's too soon to be pregnant though with it only being 4 weeks after my miscarriage? Ive had no bleeding or spotting between miscarriage and now.

BabyG123 · 10/05/2020 08:12

@MrsTtobe I have no idea how it would work but sorry for your loss.

I'm actually a bit confused as I ovulated 16 days ago and it says 1-2 weeks. I know it's not exactly accurate and hoping it's more towards the 2 weeks. I'll have to do another next week 🤞🏼

OP posts:
MrsTtobe · 10/05/2020 10:04

@babyG123 I don't think they are accurate as mine just kept saying 1-2 weeks but when I went for my 8 week scan everything was fine and baby measuring 8 weeks but test stayed at 1-2 up until 5/6 weeks. I stopped testing then so not sure after that but don't worry. X

BabyG123 · 10/05/2020 10:09

@MrsTtobe I have seen a few posts on them being inaccurate. Very annoying! Thank you. 🤞🏼 for you!

@babyG123 thank you lovely xxx

lilypad88 · 12/05/2020 15:16

Still have a chance! I am CD21 and finally ovulating!! 🤣 It's my second day in a row though of LH peak, did you ever experienced that ladies?? First time I have a 2 days peak, this cycle is driving me bananas!

Fingers crossed I get the good energy and luck coming from here 🤞🏻

Hello! I’m new here. I’m 29 and I turn 30 in a couple months. My DH and I have been TTC for a year with no luck. 3/4 of that year was spent with him working offshore but he now is home for good. I have no bio children and no known fertility issues. It gets frustrating when I feel like I’m doing everything as far as opks to make sure we have sex before during and after ovulation. I got a strong positive ovulation test on May 8th so according to my app today is 6dpo. I’m really praying and hoping this is our month

notyetamumbuttrying · 15/05/2020 10:27

Hi all, thought I'd hop on as seems like a thread for me! 34 ttc first child. 8 months of trying and no joy as yet. Af due on Sunday and took an early test 12dpo and got bfn, still holding out hope for Af not to come as been having lots of cramps and pressure and also some unusual brown cm when I wipe as of yesterday so hoping/praying it's implantation! Keep you all posted.
