@Sakura54 I am honestly contemplating living! I'm thinking if it's still a BFN next week and I still have all the signs I'm going to have to lie just to get seen!

Totally understandable @Rma13 and I knew you meant lying lol! It autocorrects when spelt like that. I know cos I just did it and it changed and I thought oh, it must be spelt with a y instead 😂

Mine changed to 'luring' lol, but yes it's ridiculous for them to leave you in limbo so lying it is!

I spent ages looking at the word lieing and was like that's not right, but right now I cant be arsed to work out the correct way 🤣🤣 lying it is haha

Hi all, can I join? I’m 32 and trying for my first baby - started trying in January. Looking for some buddies to keep me company on my first month trying after having a break during the virus peak.

@Anastacia1 I had the same thing happen on my first cycle - such a tease seeing that faint positive and thinking you’ve done it only to have your period come days later. I had no luck the following 2 cycles and then we decided to take a short break from trying. Are you taking folic acid supplements? I’ve just been taking folic acid and vitamin D although I skip the vitamin D on days that i get plenty of sunshine so skipped for the last few days thanks to the good weather ☀️

@2020mission hey aw I know like before that happened I didn't feel like I was in a rush and now I'm counting down the days until I'm ovulating which is also so confusing I've got about 4 apps on the go three are telling me I'm ovulating on the 3rd and one is saying the 9th I've just started taking it folic acid today .... Vit D I take anyway even if it is sunny I'm just in the habit of it and in Scotland you never know if the sun will be out x

@Anastacia1 ohh I’m in Scotland too, it was a rare scorcher here today haha! I’ve yet to use ovulation sticks or do temperature checks. I’ve just been DTD every other day throughout the fertile weeks and hoping for the best. If I have no luck this cycle I think I’ll have to get on board with those though.

10 dpo today scared to hope i might be pregnant this cycle. Got a faint line. Will test again in hopefully 2 days. Knowing me it'll be tomorrow.

So today I got my first flashing smiley. I’ve had EWCM for the previous 2 days so was expecting to see it soon. Means my cycle will be a tad longer this month, I’ve usually ovulated already!

I had another BFN this morning and have had some dark brown spotting 😔 I really thought it would just happen straight away but this is our 11th month.

Aww @Fran2020 so sorry to hear! Was rooting for you! Is this month 11 for your first? If so, I would see if you can get a docs appointment ready for next month. They'll do blood tests for you and sperm analysis for your partner.

@notyetamumbuttrying Thank you! Yeah it is! I think that's what we will do, we said that after a year we will go to the doctors. Just really have high hope especially for this month as it was the first month we'd had a fertility monitor to help. Thank you for your advice, I will give the docs a call on Monday to see if it's something that needs to be booked a month in advance.

I'm 38 TTC baby #3, I miscarried in late December at 5/6 weeks. My first experience of loss after two healthy pregnancies. My cycle took a month or two to normalise, so I'd say I'm on cycle 3.
I'm a week into the TWW and honestly, I'm losing the plot 🤣 So great to meet other like minded people!! My husband hates any drama and just stays super calm and says what will happen will happen. So annoying as I know he is right but I CAN'T do that. AF due on 8th, I'm going wait until then to test. Wishing BFP all around 🤞🏻🤞🏻And so sorry to those who haven't got one yet, it's so heartbreaking every month 😩

@Fran2020 what's a fertility monitor? I know what you mean though when you do something different and think yep, that should do it now and then it doesn't, fucking crushing isn't it! Yeah give them a call and see, best of luck!

@Fran2020 I would agree, get booked in. It can't hurt and no doubt you'll be cancelling because you got a BFP before then!

@notyetamumbuttrying it's absolutely awful. Not only are you not pregnant but I also end up questioning my sanity, as I get myself so hopeful every month and really believe this is the one. Tell me that isn't just me?!

@Rma13 So frustrating for you but remember they are also trying to protect/ shield you from the virus. They really don't want pregnant ladies heading to a doctors surgery if at all possible.

@notyetamumbuttrying I bought the clear blue one, it's tests for ovulation and pinpoints high days and peak days. Like the sticks really but tells you exactly what's going on. You can also do HPT using it. I will do, agreed with my partner that we would do another test on Wednesday as my cycles do vary from 26 to 31 days. Then I will call. Thank you 😊

@murphs2 so true!! I am keeping positive! It isn't just you either, I question my sanity too especially this month as I am sure the stuff isn't just in my head!

I do this every single month @murphs2 lol! Defo normal though cos it'd be weird to not think you're pregnant when you're having unprotected sex over ovulation? It's sensible to think you will be! And then it's mind boggling when you're not!?
