Thank you @jaxs23 😊 yes definitely a relief that things are hopefully back to normal. Just the thought of starting all over again. 🙄

@notyetamumbuttrying I used to have short cycles, 25 ish days, with vitamin b complex I can get to 28 now 🤣 I had one cycle that was 21. I always ovulate straight away too. Conceived my daughter on cd 7/8.

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/05/2020 20:54

@MrsTtobe this is so good to hear!! I always worry about my early ovulation n immature eggs! Can I ask which b complex vitamins you took please?

MrsTtobe · 16/05/2020 22:20

@notyetamumbuttrying not sure if ive wrote about it on this thread yet but my cycles were really short, 21-25 I was worried because when I googled it it basically said it was near impossible to conceive but looking deeper in to it as long as we ovulate earlier on but we still have a good LP then it's fine. Like I say I conceived my 2 yr old dd pretty much straight away. 2 or 3 cycles.
I looked into it and vitamin b complex can lengthen luteal phase and is good for all things cycle wise. So strange that the month I took it I had a 28 day cycle then the next month found out I was pregnant. Sadly miscarried at 11 weeks though. This happened 6 weeks ago. My first AF came yesterday so CD 2. I took Holland and Barrett vitamin b complex. I will take a pic if you like because there were loads in there and I got really confused with all the b vitamins 🤣
But try not to worry. Short cycles aren't always a bad thing x

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/05/2020 23:10

Thank you @MrsTtobe! I would love it if you posted a pic. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

jaxs23 · 16/05/2020 23:47

@notyetamumbuttrying my bday is on the 22nd. So close. I've used IC last 2 cycles and love them. Just had some weird 2 highs so want to temp to assure myself I'm ov.
Want to try CB opk but expensive.
Hopefully your cylcly will get longer. I heard coq10 can help with egg quality.

notyetamumbuttrying · 17/05/2020 00:09

Yes very close! @jaxs23 yeah thank you. Have heard of coq10 too and intend on purchasing some tomorrow! Just wanted to be sure AF definitely was coming first.
Yeah the CB's are expensive, I don't start using them when the pack says but the day before I think I'm gonna ovulate based on the Flo app, so that I'm not using loads each cycle. Worked last month so will do the same again this month.

BabyG123 · 17/05/2020 09:12

@jaxs23 I used the easy@home kit off of amazon. £15 for 50opks and 20 preg tests.

It links up with the premom app and plots the graph for you all tells you when your peak is.

Amazing and I'm now 6+5 highly recommend!

Hope it's OK to hop on ☺️ I'm 31 and TTC DC1. My fiancé is 29 and this will be our first cycle. We were due to get married this September, but with the current situation that's looking less and less likely, so decided to focus on starting a family instead.

I came off the pill about 5 weeks ago and we were waiting for my first natural AF to start TTC. AF came on Monday so am currently on CD7, excited to get going but nervous too.

I'm also using the easy@home OPKs and the Premom app. Tracking CM too. Finding Mumsnet really helpful and it's lovely to find lots of women in similar situations ☺️ Xx

MrsTtobe · 17/05/2020 22:48

Welcome @MintGreenLife good luck lovely. Hopefully start to see some bfp in the next couple of weeks. Im hopeful for us all.

@notyetamumbuttrying I haven't forgot to post the pic. Ive just been cleaning and cooking all day so forgot. Will do it tomorrow xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 17/05/2020 23:10

@MrsTtobe no worries 😉 thanks.
@MintGreenLife welcome, you're in good company here 😊

jaxs23 · 18/05/2020 03:59

@mintgreenlife welcome to the lucky 30's group.

Attybae · 18/05/2020 05:06

Thanks! yes I have been for an annual but not for a fully fertility workup. My benefits for my job kick in in 2 weeks and I will try to go then @BabyG123

MintGreenLife · 18/05/2020 09:42

Thanks for the welcomes @MrsTtobe @jaxs23 and @notyetamumbuttrying

Looking forward to finding out more about everyone's TTC journey. So nice to have support from these groups :)

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/05/2020 11:24

@MintGreenLife we've been trying since last September so my optimism is fading a bit now. I know it can take up to a year for most couples and that is fast approaching for us now. Have been thinking of calling the docs this week to get started on blood tests. I'm 34, hubby is 37 and we are ttc our first. Best of luck in your ttc journey, hopefully you're one of the lucky ones and catch first time! Smile

MintGreenLife · 18/05/2020 11:29

@notyetamumbuttrying

Sorry to hear you're finding it difficult. I know a few people that ended up trying close to a year and ended up conceiving eventually, I imagine it's tricky not to start to lose hope though. It's a good idea to go docs and get some clarity on the situation, hope all goes well if you do decide to book an appointment.

Thanks so much, it's strange isn't it as I've spent all my life trying not to get pregnant, and now we want the opposite and you do wonder if you're even going to be able to! My fertile window should start from Friday and like I said this is our first cycle, so not too sure what to expect but am doing lots of research and everything I can to give us the best chance :) xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/05/2020 13:35

@MintGreenLife thanks. A couple of my mates took close to a year too, it's just so tough when you don't know which camp you'll fall into it lol! Sounds like you're armed with all the info so best of luck to you! It is really strange yeah, all I did to prevent it for so long and now that I want it, I can't have it, what a messed up world 😆

MrsTtobe · 18/05/2020 17:20

@MintGreenLife yes so strange 😂 we spend so many years trying NOT to get pregnant then it seems so hard to actually get pregnant.
I'm trying for baby #3, 35 years old.
Came off the pill Oct 19, got pregnant end of Jan. Had a miscarriage at Easter, I was 11 weeks pregnant. Currently on first AF since and then back to trying. Back to square one. 😔
Fingers crossed you will conceive first time trying 🙏 xx

Sakura54 · 19/05/2020 14:56

Hi all! A bit late to join. I’m 33, started TTC in December then had a MMC (found out at 13 weeks), so waiting for my period to return before deciding when to TTC again. Have a little boy already and want to give him a sibling!

jaxs23 · 19/05/2020 16:59

@Sakura54 so sorry for you MMC. sending baby dust your way.

Rma13 · 19/05/2020 17:25

Hi I'm 30 and ttc #2 af is 9 days late and I'm getting loads of symptoms but test today and yesterday were BFN 😥 feel like I'm going insane but I've definitely got symptoms!

Lauralozzle · 19/05/2020 19:27

Hi everyone

Hoping I can join this bus. Smile

I’m 32, and on CD 2 of cycle 13

No tests done yet, I’m going to wait until all the crazy has finished at the moment. My cycles are a bit erratic, usually 26 days recently with the odd 31 day cycle in there too. Luteal length is always 11-12 days, so not ideal 14 days but not too short either, I think.

Fingers crossed for everyone.

BabyG123 · 19/05/2020 20:26

Welcome all! Exciting to share our journeys. Sending baby dust xx
