I'm so confused Confused

So I had sex 7 days ago (second day of ovulation according to the flo app) my cycle is usually about 31 days I'm due on my period in 11 days.

I'm having early symptoms of pregnancy and got a first response test.

Can I still do the test 6 days before my period or do I need to wait to get an accurate result?

I got my first positive at 8dpo however it was the faintest line barely even noticeable. Didn't get a proper positive that was noticeable enough for me not to questions it until atleast 10/11dpo. There's no harm in testing just don't get too disappointed if it comes out negative or if you can't really see a line. I know it's hard to not cave in but try and hold of as long as you can, you'll only end up buying more anyway to confirm it 😂 good luck and fingers crossed x

I tested to early 8dpo and got a massive BFN I waited till my AF was due to retest and was a blazing BFP. To save yourself heartache, line eyes and second guessing I'd honestly suggest not testing till your AF is due. Good luck

I've read that implantation doesnt usually occur until 9dpo so I wouldn't bother testing until after that myself.

10 dpo is the most common day for implantation, and until that happens and a placenta is formed HCG which is picked up by tests wont register. HCG double every day after implantation and can usually be detected 2 days after implantion, putting you at 12 dpo. This is when i think you should test. Any days earlier could result in a BFN and this is such a bummer. Equally, if you are having symptoms which could be the result of progesterone generally in the luteal phase, these symptoms start to subside by 12/13 dpo. This is generally how i know i havent concieved so dont need to take a test and AF arrives as expected. Anyway 12 dpo is when i would test x
