Hello. My first time posting on a forum despite spending hours reading through these things looking for guidance. Been trying for our second for 2 years. Became pregnant May last year but lost the pregnancy at 6 weeks (felt like a LOT longer than 6 weeks). This was my very first miscarriage - we were very lucky with my first. Continued to try again almost straight away I’m 35 and already in the high risk category so didn’t want to waste any time. Since I’ve had 2 positive tests turn negative within a few days (I think these are called chemicals) but nothing since November last year. Blood sugars are not perfect but I’m actively trying to reduce my HbA1c every day. I’m being seen by a lovely obstetrician who helps high risk ladies as part of my pre-conception clinic. She sent me for loads of tests - found a weird hole in the top of my uterus which I’ve probably had since birth (bearing in mind that I had a natural induced birth with my first - very traumatic delivery and freaks me out the thought of what could have happened had it ruptured). The day at EPU when having my miscarriage I had an internal scan and they said that I was showing signs of adenomyosis (this explains the last 10 years of horrific heavy painful periods and iron deficiency anaemia). Before TTC #2 I was advised treatment options were limited unless fertility was not as issue. I decided to complete our family first and then take the hysterectomy plunge. Still waiting and starting to lose hope. Sorry for the long message I’m sure that could have been shortened down somehow - I will learn!Smile
