How long did it take you to conceive?

Hi, just curious,
Especially if you conceived quickly with first baby, was it the same for baby number 2?
I had a baby 18 months ago, and we conceived the first month of trying, had sex twice, and bfp 10dpo on Frer.
I knew something was up, as I felt awful from about 8dpo, nausea, couldn't stomach smell of pizza or coffee.

Just wondering / hoping it's going to be a quick conception again!

The first month that I came off the pill the first time so straight away, that ended in miscarriage, then this pregnancy was the 2nd month but the first month I had a lot of retained pregnancy tissue still so that's probably why I didn't conceive. My mom has always got pregnant first month with all 4 of us so I wonder if it's a genetic thing

I'm also in my TWW... Also hoping my period doesn't show up, although slightly nervous about being pregnant again!

@Dimosaur same here! I'm nervous about getting pregnant, as I have awful sickness in my pregnancies so not looking forward to that if I do fall😣 I was sick the whole way through with my last & got a condition called Choleostasis obstetrics, which was awful! & was told if I had another I've got an 80% chance of it happening again😖 I'd love to have a girl this time aswel as have 2 boys. But what will be will be. I have a feeling that it just won't happen for me this time, but who knows🤷‍♀️ I blame my best friend for making me broody 🤣 as shes now got a little girl that's 6 months after having 2boys, but her pregnancy was unplanned. She was very lucky!! Good luck trying to conceive hun. I only joined Mumsnet last night & now I'm bloody hooked🙈 don't know if that's a good thing🙉 I've spent about 4hoirs on here today😂😂 I've put quite a lot of threads on here on my watching list! I'm obsessed now😆xx

5 months for Baby 1, and first month trying for Baby 2.

First try with dc1 and dc2. 6 months with dc3

1st accident even after morning after pill (at 17). 2nd conceived on 3rd cycle at 25 and currently on cycle 9 for number 3 at 28 years old
