Confused on digi test

Can someone help me? Been getting faint positive on ALL blue dye tests and a very slight one yesterday on a pink. Just did this ejectable digital test, said not pregnant, so I’ve ejected it and there’s a line?

It might be too faint for a digital reading. Sometimes eyes are best! Have you done a FRER?

Lauren122 · 14/04/2020 15:27

@BuffaloCauliflower I’ve searched everywhere for a FRER and everywhere I’ve been only has clearblue or their own version of pink dye cheapies, have ordered some ultra early tests that are supposed to be arriving in a couple of days x

tessiegirl · 14/04/2020 15:28

Those type of tests always have a second line even when the result is negative.
I remember finding this out when I was ttc.

BuffaloCauliflower · 14/04/2020 15:30

@Lauren122 they’ve got them on Amazon Prime for next day delivery

Windyatthebeach · 14/04/2020 15:33

Took apart digital always has 2 lines when negative..

Beau20 · 14/04/2020 16:01

These teats always have 2 lines even when not pregnant, sorry...

However the CB digitals are the last sensitive ones the market so not to say you aren't pregnant they just take longer to show positive

Isadora2007 · 14/04/2020 16:16

When’s your period due?

Lauren122 · 14/04/2020 16:28

I haven’t taken the test apart, it’s one that comes with cartridges. And I have no idea when period is due as I’m very irregular and have bleeding problems which doctors are still trying to figure out. But I’ve been having cramping in my right side, as well as feeling sick and back pain. I had all these symptoms with my first born

OP posts:
tessiegirl · 14/04/2020 20:32

You're not supposed to eject them though Hmm

Lauren122 · 14/04/2020 21:03

Yes you are with the one I have, it’s a digital test that comes with a digital part and two testing parts, you have to release the cartridge in order to use the next test, look up Lloyd’s digital pregnancy test leaflet x

lovelydream · 14/04/2020 21:17

They always have a second line

tessiegirl · 15/04/2020 00:23

I thought it was a clearblue test you had used.
Anyhow, it's the same with Lloyds tests. There are always 2 lines even when negative unfortunately.

Lauren122 · 15/04/2020 13:37

What do people think about this one? Looks like it could be an evap but was within the time frame :/ sorry for continuing posting but the ladies on here is the only help I have right now lol. Got doctors appointment this afternoon

@Lauren122 I'm not seeing anything sorry, have you tried inverting it? Why do you think you need to go to the doctors about it? Sorry if I'm missing something like other issues...

HavenDilemma · 15/04/2020 16:42

Any update OP?

lovelydream · 15/04/2020 16:48

Negative

A doctor won't routinely offer you a blood test to confirm pregnancy in the U.K.

If that's what your going for unless you are high risk for something like ectopic it's not a good use of resources

Beau20 · 15/04/2020 19:07

@lovelydream this is what I thought... I didn't want to seem mean but I don't see the point in seeing the GP because you have negative tests, even without corona going on. Of course if there are other issues then fine.

I totally get how awful it is clinging on to a glimpse of hope of a BFP but a gp won't do anything. Sometimes you've just got to accept it's not meant to be this month and move on or wait and test in a few more days.

Beau20 · 15/04/2020 19:34

OP, I've seen some of your other posts about going to be GP for bloods and coming back negative. It seems as though your cycles are really irregular and maybe it's best to try and wait seeing a GP unless really really necessary. It's really wasteful of resources to go to the GP for blood tests to try and confirm a pregnancy that you haven't even had a positive test for. I appreciate how much you must want a positive but maybe just try and chill out about it and just test every few days with your own tests.

Of course if you have other medical issues then I apologise. (although I'm not sure why you'd need a blood test to confirm a pregnancy for any medical issues)

Maybe wait a week to test again and then you can be sure. Good luck x

Lauren122 · 15/04/2020 20:16

Hi ladies, so my other posts were from months back about getting bloods done, in fact I think that may have been last year? And doctors appointment for the fact I have a bleeding issue not just irregular cycles, I can bleed twice in 4 weeks or I can bleed for a month entirely (TMI sorry). Lately been getting a lot of pain on right side under belly button so worried for ovarian cysts, wasn’t a pregnancy test I was after lol although I was worried that incase I was pregnant it would affect it somehow, that’s why I rang gp. Sorry for the confusion. And nope been getting BFN all day so I reckon the original test I bought a few days ago must’ve been faulty as it looked like a clear BFP :/

OP posts:
Beau20 · 15/04/2020 20:39

@Lauren122 the pain on your right side sounds like ovulation pains. Ovarian cysts are also very common and 9 times out of 10 totally harmless. Both me and my sister get them and although someone's they can be painful they are harmless

tessiegirl · 15/04/2020 21:17

So are you ttc or not? You seem almost obsessed with wanting a positive test

Beau20 · 16/04/2020 08:15

Maybe just take a break from testing from a while, you've posted tests on here almost every month since August last year. If you were on contraception, it can take a looong while to get back to normal. I'm 9 months in and not back to normal. I had really irregular bleeds every 2 weeks for the last few months I was on implant and they are still really odd now. Maybe wait 12 months being off any contraception before going to see your gp about anything. If your body is meant to be pregnant, it will be pregnant. That's all I can say. The longer you obsess the more stress you are putting on your body.

Beau20 · 16/04/2020 08:15

Oh and don't use blue dye test early on. They are notorious for evaps. They will be more accurate the more days you are after your due period

Jellycatfox · 16/04/2020 08:20

I can’t stand it when people do a search to noise about old posts from a poster.
if your body is meant to be pregnant, it will be pregnant
How very unhelpful

Lauren122 · 17/04/2020 12:18

I wouldn’t go as far to say that I’ve put threads up every month, a lot of other ladies also do this but I thought we were all meant to help each other? And not obsessed with getting a positive at all...just confusing when you think you see a line but it’s hard to tell. Thankyou @Jellycatfox I thought we were all in the boat x
