Line getting fainter

I took 2 pregnancy tests on Sunday, one a clearblue and one a strip test and both had faint lines, my period was due last Thursday and a had a very light bleed that didn't come to anything when normally my periods are that heavy I have to use night pads during the day, it was this that prompted me to take the test. I took another strip test yesterday and the line was a little fainter than Sundays and then today the line lighter still, I have pregnancy symptoms like sore boobs and nausea but I'm worried about what these tests could mean, could it be a chemical or an ectopic even, has anyone had experience of this?

Hi @xMorrisseyGirlx really sorry to say it sounds like it could be a chemical pregnancy. I had one last cycle got a pink line on a cheap stick on the Thursday so took a FRER and got a line so took a clearblue digital on Friday morning and got pregnant 1-2. Monday morning I took my other FRER expecting to see a much darker line but it was slightly more faint and clearblue digital said not pregnant and by Wednesday I had started bleeding.

Really sorry this is happening to you it sucks.

I feel so upset, I had a termination in October because of my husband and now feel like this is punishment 😭

@xMorrisseyGirlx this is in no way your fault. Unfortunately CPs happen to many if not most of us – it's nothing to do with any decisions you've made previously. I now how awful it is and am sending you love and all best wishes for next cycle xxx
