To test or not to test, that is the question

My period is normally a standard 28 day cycle. Last couple of turns it has come early. Once a couple days early and then last time 6 days early. When I was younger it was very much a throw darts at a calendar to guess when a period would arrive but as an adult, it has been quite well behaved. So as the last 2 were early, the last one being substantially early, should I do a test now or wait until day 28? Am I setting myself up for a fail? Should I just be patient until next Tuesday? Confused

There's no harm in doing a test now I suppose but you're probably best waiting a few more days for a more accurate result.

How many DPO are you? I have a regular 28 day cycle and if I was due next Tuesday today wouldn’t be enough DPO for there to be a reading there, not very likely anyway

I would wait till you have missed your period by a few days.

I'm in the same boat as you op, AF is due on Tuesday or Weds depending on if a 28/29 day cycle. Dying to test but think I will wait a few days. Do you know your ovulation date? I see a lot of people get faint lines at 10DPO which may be tomorrow for you.
Wish you the best of luck anyway x

Just wait because if nothing there you’ll end up testing again anyway most likely.
