Hey, my luteal phase is always 12days, I have a 24-27 day cycle, and I'm just wondering how the FRER tests work when they say they work 5 day's before your missed period, does that mean I should be able to get a line by 7dpo as I've read most people implant at 9DPO... a line at 7DPO would mean implant 5/6DPO as the hcg would need 24 hours or so to release after implantation... just a query I hope someone can help with :) x

Hi Hun 7DPO is a bit early I would wait till your about 10DPO. Or you can use the implantation calendar BabyMed.com is the one I use to know when to test. FRER website also has information on when to test just put in you last period date and cycle date it will tell you when to test xx

You could try it but you run the risk of getting a negative and wasting a test. If I'm going to test randomly early I waste IC not FRER 😂 I think it is also too early anyway, but that is my experience. I always get positives before AF but not until 4 days before at the earliest, not the 6 days they talk about with FRER.

Thanks @SandyN89 @calimommy it's just boggled me how they claim you can get a bfp so early on, maybe there's a disclaimer if you have a short luteal phase?! Xx

@AliSxo unfortunately it won't say it but they expect you to work out when you DPO, LH etc and work out when you should test. But every woman's body is different and most tests go by when your next period is due forget all the rest. X

You ‘can’ doesn’t mean you ‘will’ get a reading that early. The disclaimer is already in there.
