Positive OPK 9dpo, is this normal?

Hi all,

I have been TTC for 15 months and due to Coronavirus my referral and DH semen analysis have been cancelled 😔

For some reason I did an OPK this morning at 9dpo and it was positive. Is this normal? Or does this mean I am ovulating again? I definitely ovulated 9 days ago, confirmed with OPK, BBT and CM etc.

Thoughts? Thanks for reading.

Hi, you can get a surge just before AF, so doesn't necessarily mean ovulation x

Have you done a preg test?
A lot of people get a positive lh test and then get a bfp....

I have had an even stronger OPK today at 11 dpo, I've never had one this strong before.

I don't have anymore OPKs so I can't torture myself anymore .

Anyone else in the TWW?

I deffo think you should do a pg test you usually don't get a lh surge that long before af or for that many days!

I'd do a pregnancy test OP....

Yes I remember, sorry I didn't reply back in July I took a break from MN in the hope it would make me less obsessive but it didn't 😛!

I conceived in september but sadly miscarried at 11.5 weeks in november so this is the 3rd cycle trying after the mc 😬 hopefully it's not too long untill we both are expecting!

Nope not tested yet, I don't have any tests and too scared to be honest. I don't feel any different this month to any other month, so I think it will be BFN.

Still no sign of AF this morning so I plucked up the courage to do a test. And another test. And another test.

TTC for 14 months and no sign of a BFP and on month 15 this happens...

I remember your name from old posts. I've also been on/off the boards. I'm on to month 13 of TTC and also not going to be making fertility clinic referral any time soon due to pandemic. So your bfp gives me hope!!

@Annny27 Yes, I did an IC test at 8am and when it was positive I ran into our bedroom and woke him up 😂 He went to the pharmacy to get a FRER and clearblue and then we just went into shock... 🙂

I don't have any symptoms - I had my usual spotting around 7-9dpo and AF cramps but AF didn't show up. I hope this gives someone hope if they stumble upon the thread!
