How faint can a faint line be to be considered a positive test

Ladies Smile my partner and I are in our third month of ttc. This has already been emotionally exhausting and I pray we conceive a little bubba soon but I'm also emotionally prepared this could be a long process. I'm due on my period tomorrow and I took a pregnancy test this morning ( just a cheap one from Poundland first vue as that's all I had) and my eyes are seeing the faintest faintest of lines under an angle. I don't know if it's my eyes playing tricks on me but I wanted to ask you how faint can a faint line be in order to be considered a positive? I used an app called checker in order to play with the lighting a bit to see better but still not sure. What do you think? Or should I just be prepared for what's about to come tomorrow Confused

I would retest again in a couple of days if your period doesn't arrive tomorrow. There's definitely a shadow of something on that picture but it's impossible to say if it's coloured or not and those tests are notoriously bad for grey evaporation lines x

It's horrible isn't it, I had so many which I convinced myself were faint lines but I think you go a bit crazy don't you!! Patience has never been my strong point Grin
