@dublino I can...i think im scared to buy a test and itd be a bfn..maybe i feel safe now tht the tests arrive late,it allows me to dream and hope without it being ruined.. but the waiting part is killing me as well. Im not making any sense sorry ....women innit.
And honestly i dnt wanna spend a lot of money on tests a tesco brand is probably 7 or 8 pound while I buy the cheapies for 2 pound a whole pack

Hi, am I in the right group? Ovulation was around 3/5th March. So I think I need to wait two week before testing? So looks like I'll be trying next week :)

Littlebump2018 · 15/03/2020 21:30

AF is due on 19th but I've been getting the burny/achy womb feeling today which seems a bit early for my period systems to start. When can implantation feelings start?

I think I'm just over thinking everything as I really want a BFP Grin

Mrsdingle2019 · 16/03/2020 07:12

Good Morning everyone! I did a test yesterday (after promising to wait til Tuesday) and got a bfn, not sure what else I expected tbh, and was absolutely crushed 🥺

Now I feel like I'm too scared to test again tomorrow as planned in case its negative again. Does anyone else get like this? Think I'm way over thinking this and honestly feel like ttc is taking over my life. I wish I was as relaxed as dh!

dublino · 16/03/2020 07:37

@Mrsdingle2019 yep . I get like that all the time. I'm sitting here debating ng whether I'll do a test this morn or now. Had a bad sleep as I was thinking about temps and test last night so you're not alone

@Littlebump2018 welcome. This is the group for testing then!

Mrsdingle2019 · 16/03/2020 08:01

@dublino thank you for replying. I'm glad I'm not alone in this. While I admire my husband's laid back attitude to this and wish I could be more like him, I sometimes feel alone when I'm struggling with these feelings. I know he is wanting a baby as much as I am, but he is able to switch off and let nature take its course more than I am!

I am working from home tomorrow so will test then when I have time to digest the result I think.

dublino · 16/03/2020 08:16

@Mrsdingle2019 yep my partner is the same. Hes oblivious to me testing. He does say to let him know when I am testing but I dont see the point in telling him unless it's a defonate no or a yes

Yestrtday eve I did a wondfo and got a very very faint line . This morn I did a boots early detection test and another wondfo. Nothing. I dont slight trust those wondfos. Had two last cycle the came back as positive when I didnt even think I ovulated .

Sunshinedelight1287 · 16/03/2020 10:22

Anyone else going mad analysing everything?? I'm due on Saturday but I bought a Clear Blue test which says you can test 6 days early. The results increase to >99% accurate by testing 4 days early so I might do it in the morning.

First month TTC so not sure how lucky we'd be.

emma4282 · 16/03/2020 13:18

@Sunshinedelight1287 although it says you can test 6 days early, if you haven't implanted yet then the result will be negative - which is why it's difficult to trust the early testers. If you don't implant until 11DPO but you take the test at 9DPO you can get a negative but still be pregnant? If that makes sense? 😊 so always best to try (as hard as it is!) to wait until the day AF is due from what I've read & understand.

Sunshinedelight1287 · 16/03/2020 13:22

@emma4282 Thanks for the info. It's so hard to wait!! I think I might test tomorrow/Wednesday but obviously not get too disappointed if its BFN.

Littlebump2018 · 16/03/2020 14:53

@Sunshinedelight1287 I feel the same! Do you I plant before your period or can it happen after your period is expected?

I woke up with heart burn this morning and I have no idea why. I now think I'm reading into everything too much!

Sunshinedelight1287 · 16/03/2020 15:04

@Littlebump2018 When is AF due for you?

I know what I'm like, I still may test tomorrow but I'll try not to be too upset if it's not positive.

shhhhs · 16/03/2020 15:41

@sunshinedelight1287 I'm a bit late to the conversation here but I agree on the symptom spotting being a nightmare!! It's so hard not to think every little change may be a clue. It's just a shame the most of pre AF symptoms are so similar to pregnancy!!

Sunshinedelight1287 · 16/03/2020 15:51

@shhhhs I know right!! Literally everything is the same as PMT.

1987Nic · 16/03/2020 16:31

What does everyone think?, I’m definitely sure there’s a line. Smile

Anyone testing in the week of march 18th?
dublino · 16/03/2020 17:07

@1987Nic looks positive to me! Congrats

shhhhs · 16/03/2020 17:22

@1987Nic that's amazing, congratulations 😁😁

1987Nic · 16/03/2020 18:12

Thank you so much, I’m over the moon but trying to not get too excited just yet . @shhhhs@dublino

Mrsdingle2019 · 16/03/2020 18:28

@1987Nic defo looks like a positive to me. Congratulations!

shhhhs · 16/03/2020 18:57

Have you guys seen the new news regarding Corona and pregnant women, they should isolate for 12 weeks!!! Can you imagine how your jobs would react if you said you couldn't go in for 12 weeks!! 😂 I'm a nurse and they are already expecting double shifts from me so they'll be pissssssed if I get a BFP this month 😂

1987Nic · 16/03/2020 19:14

Thank you @Mrsdingle2019. I’ve just seen this on the news @shhhhs, really don’t want to let them know this early, I do have other medical conditions so hopefully won’t need to mention being pregnant.

Jessmary94 · 16/03/2020 19:26

Congrats @1987Nic!!!
I tested today, BFN but not surprised as its way too early, I just couldn't help myself! Will try again in another few days I think!
