Hi ladies, I thought after months of reading everyone's fertility posts online I'd come on in the hope to just vent etc to those trying.
I have 2 beautiful daughters 5+6 conceived first month first try - I'm now on 6 month trying with 3 chemical pregnancies so it's getting very emotional now and draining, draining because Ive has the positive tests and then started bleeding so this month I've vowed to not test until I'm a few days late! My cycles are like clockwork 28 days, I've ovulated a day early on day 11 I have my positive so I'm hoping that's a good sign, I'm taking vitamins and folic and had a lot of bed time ... hoping this is the month but going to do my best to relax! :)

I’ve been taking folic acid, coq10 and DHA since TTC.
I read a lot of testimonials on Instagram after they were recommended by Luisa Zissman on her blog (which makes for interesting reading!!)

www.luisazissman.co.uk/?p=647

I’m not a success story yet but have only officially been trying this month, and fell with a chemical last month whilst taking these supplements when we weren’t actively trying, so hoping this is our month, trying SO hard to wait til the end of the month to test (as my cycle is irregular so I’m not even sure when I ovulated or when AF is due!) so watch this space!

Annajay12 · 05/03/2020 13:20

@Missgoldilocks been off the pill since October.
Quite annoying as I don't know how long my luteul phase normally is so dont even know the day I'm due AF :(

Missgoldilocks · 05/03/2020 13:20

@shelly10111 hey! I've been taking foloc acid and foliate (I switch between each day) maca root powder in tablet form, vitamin d, multviti, coq10, zinc.

I give my partner vitamin c, zinc, vitamin d, coq10 and every other day multivitamin.

I've been trying 7 months too, been taking all these pillsaybe 3 months consistently. I think it's really good for the man but it does take 3 months for the sperm to change once he starts taking it all. X

shelly10111 · 05/03/2020 13:23

@MabelBunny4 oh I love her I listen to her podcast ! Hmm ok I'm not sure where to get the second one from but I'm taking folic every day :( xx

@shelly10111 I got all of mine from amazon, there are links in the blog post on have linked above, on her instagram highlights she has posted all of the messages from ladies like us TTC who have started taking her recommended vitamins and it’s worked!

@Annajay12 I’ve been off the pill since last April so almost 12 months so totally know how you feel not being able to understand your cycles like everyone else seems to be able to do so easily!

Annajay12 · 06/03/2020 13:46

@MabelBunny4 12 months.. I feel for you. Makes me realise how silly I was in past when i would panic over missing 1 pill etc. You just dont appreciate how long it can take until you actually start trying x

shelly10111 · 06/03/2020 14:24

I've added vitamin D into all the potions I'm currently taking to get pregnant, feeling like it won't ever happen!!!

OP posts:
MabelBunny4 · 06/03/2020 14:42

@Annajay12 I’ve not been actively trying for 12 months, only really the last 2. But not been on the pill so not not trying if that makes sense 🙈
But yes, I definitely feel like before I assumed any little accident and I’d be pregnant, the reality is so different!!

@shelly10111 I might add some vitamin d 👍🏼 I mean, is it bad to be taking so many things, some mornings I feel like I’m taking such a concoction of capsules and tablets!

shelly10111 · 06/03/2020 14:55

@MabelBunny4 I know I feel a bit like a tic tax box but I'm sure it can't do harm? I'm taking folic, vit c with iron and then now the vitamin D, bring on next week, fresh cycle fresh start 😂😭

AF is possibly 2 days late but I’m still getting BFN on FRER.

I have a metallic taste, watery mouth, sore boobs and I’m not getting the usual PMS symptoms...

I know from experience that it takes a few days past my missed period for a BFP to show so hopefully I’ll get one tomorrow.

Throughout this TWW I’ve been thinking yes I am, no I’m not, yes I am and back and forth but right now I think 100% that I am.

Eek!

Annajay12 · 07/03/2020 17:48

Not sure exactly when AF due. Looking at what I think my LP was last cycle, it would mean it's due today, 12dpo.
And also getting negative tests. Having a few cramps but my BBT is still high so..?
We both will have to wait and see. Take a test tomorrow and us know how you get on!! Have you been temp charting? X

OrganicSmorganic · 07/03/2020 17:56

@AnnaJay no I haven’t been charting my temp however I feel so hot one minute then ice cold the next.

IIRC my BBT stayed high when I was pregnant with my second and that was a sure indicator for me that I was pregnant.

I have one more test left which I will take tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Annajay12 · 07/03/2020 18:11

Well good luck, have my fingers crossed for you 🤞
Keep me updated!!

Annajay12 · 08/03/2020 12:18

Hey!
Took a cheap ebay test today at 13dpo and have a faint line!! Faint enough that it can only just be seen on a photo but quite clear in reality.
Then took clearblue and that was 100% negative with same FMU.
Thoughts please?? Smile

OrganicSmorganic · 08/03/2020 13:04

@AnnaJay congratulations! Clearblue are not the most sensitive in my experience, I remember getting negatives on those and positives on the FRER but a line’s a line!

I’m a few days late and getting all of the symptoms- sore boobs, metallic, watery mouth, nausea, tiredness, hot flashes, low back ache and tender stomach but got another BFN again this morning 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m going to test again on Wednesday, I just need to see it in black and white!

shelly10111 · 08/03/2020 13:49

@Annajay12 could be a chemical as they never come up on clear blue because your levels never get 25mui + but also 13dpo is perfectly good time to start getting your bfp and clear blue take ages so deffo test again 15dpo ! Exciting xxx

OP posts:
OrganicSmorganic · 08/03/2020 14:08

@shelly10111 I never get a BFP until several days after my missed period so tend not to use the clear blue as it takes too long!

Foreverblowingbubbles18 · 08/03/2020 14:56

Hi ladies, af due today and have been feeling iffy for a few days. Took a Tesco test and got this straight away, literally before I’d even wiped myself (TMI) I’m sorry. How reliable are these are so tests? Don’t want to get excited if it’s probably a falsie

1dpo - anyone for the journey
OrganicSmorganic · 08/03/2020 15:08

@Foreverblowingbubbles looks like a BFP to me! Congratulations! Highly unlikely to be a false positive.

Annajay12 · 08/03/2020 15:54

Thankyou! Hope it isn't a chemical 😣 Bought a FRER today so 🤞 just have to it and see. Had quite a bit of cramping today and back pain..

@Foreverblowingbubbles18 100% positive. Congratulations!

shelly10111 · 08/03/2020 17:20

@Annajay12 let us know upload a pic :) and keep strong I've had 3 chemicals now, so over it but you'll get there.

@Foreverblowingbubbles18 oh my god that's no falsie!! Eek so jelous congrats !!! Xxxx

shelly10111 · 09/03/2020 17:10

@Annajay12 any news? Xx

OP posts:
Annajay12 · 09/03/2020 18:10

@shelly10111 took another cheapie and a FRER this morning. FRER only very slightly positve. (Probably wouldn't see if I took a pic) And cheapie lighter than yesterday so I'm not filled with much hope at the moment 😔
Had a GP appt today for something else and mentioned it to her and asked if it could be chemical and she said the lightness of the line means nothing. But surely it does, it should be going darker! 😒 x

Annajay12 · 09/03/2020 18:11

First time I have ever had a positive preg test in my life so honestly dont know what I should be expecting. Just feel a bit down today incase I'm getting my Hope's up for nothing x

shelly10111 · 09/03/2020 18:15

@Annajay12 I totally get it, my advice would be to test and if your line is darker just stop testing and maybe have a private scan at 8 weeks for peace of mind, if the line hasn't got darker then I just always prepare myself for my period xx
