March bus

Just thought I'd start a March bus for anyone just edging into the next month for testing/AF due!

I'll start with my stats:

Trying for baby #2 with a 2.5yo DD
Cycle 2 (although first full cycle after having the implant removed)
CD1 today
AF/BFP due sometime after 5th March depending on what my cycle wants to do this month!

@karenkeys I think if there's a possibility of a shorter cycle it's definitely worth starting earlier. I had a positive opk last night (CD7) so hopefully it has worked for us this month. I have no idea what is a "normal" cycle for me!

Hello @Mycrazylife85, I too am going crazy sometimes... So upsetting and frustrating process... 😔

But don't worry too much. I suffer from reoccurring UTI and I usually would also go to the loo straight away. But now I am keeping my legs up and drink loads before and after and it is OK. But one piece of advice : make your husband have a proper deep clean shower before BD, I think it stops me from getting any problems.

I just want a baby so bad...

Fingers and legs crossed 🤞🏻😘

karenkeys · 14/02/2020 11:52

@littletandme thanks I’m going to start tonight at CD7 just incase, then every second day until next weekend 🤞 for us all

Lola871 · 14/02/2020 11:53

@Sausage1990 I definitely need to focus on nutrition, I'm normally pretty good but have slipped into bad habits lately and the weight has been creeping on a bit!

I generally exercise quite a lot so just making sure I stick to my routine as well is a good thing to focus on!

Mycrazylife85 · 14/02/2020 16:14

@Adrianoska thank you. That made me feel better. We both pop in the shower first, sometimes together too ☺️ I think it helps too. As it happens I haven't got my peak OPK, in fact I went from almost positive to nothing at all but I temp so I know I haven't ovulated. Having PCOS sucks. Reckon that's my body trying to gear up but not managing 😔

karenkeys · 14/02/2020 18:47

CD7 and first try in 🤞 so hoping it happens this month - it’s my mum and my birthday in mid March so would be brilliant birthdays if we had this news to share! Hope you all have a good valentine’s 💕

Mockingbird0805 · 14/02/2020 21:51

How often do people recommend using an OPK this is the first month using them for me? If my Flo app is right I'm not due to ovulate for another 17 days Confused

littletandme · 14/02/2020 22:55

@Mockingbird0805 buy at least 20 cheapies and do one a day (I try to not go to the loo from around 2pm, then do one about 5.30 when I get home from work) from CD8 unless you know you generally ovulate early. When it starts to get quite dark I'd do another later in the evening so you can catch the peak surge.

@littletandme thank you. Really hoping to catch lucky this time

calimommy · 15/02/2020 03:24

Tbh @Mockingbird0805 buy a 50 pack for the month of IC and do one a day at least and closer to when you expect to ovulate do two or more.

MrsB2019x · 16/02/2020 11:21

Hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s Day! Flowers

Currently sat on CD8.. still spotting and I’m so over it now 🙄

Lola871 · 16/02/2020 11:35

Hi all, hope everyone's having a lovely weekend. Just checking in, currently on CD6, not due to ov until CD16-18 so nothing happening for the next week really! Then I'll start OPKs and go from there.

I've decided to set some goals for the cycle to keep my mind on other things. So I'm aiming for 1kg weight loss this cycle, along with 2 runs a week, 2 weight training sessions a week, and 2 sport sessions a week (apart from the running this is my normal routine so shouldn't be too much of a stretch!)

Anyone else have any goals for the cycle? Besides getting pregnant obviously!!

Hatepickinganame · 16/02/2020 12:47

Hi @littletandme @lola871 and all the other feb bus names i recognise 👋 and hi to all the ones i dont haha officially moving myself to the march bus now, cd7 today, AF due 12th march and refusing to test early this time 😂 hope everyone is well and good luck to all!!

littletandme · 16/02/2020 12:54

Hi @Hatepickinganame I've been straddling both buses but I think I'm now properly on the March bus after an ovulation false alarm very early on 🤦🏻‍♀️ I even got EWCM the same day as a positive opk but then my temp didn't increase and OPKs have been a bit all over the place since.

Hi all, just trying again

Lottieloux · 16/02/2020 14:14

Hi lovelies wanting to join this thread, bit of background
Found out I was pregnant on the 23rd December but miscarried on the 12th jan. First AF post Mx started this morning so hoping to get back on the bus as soon as. Ordered some cb digital opk to use with the cheapies. Hopefully this is the month for baby dust for us🌈

Franklydear · 16/02/2020 14:31

I came off the pill in November, managed to convince myself I was pregnant after a very light short period?, but I guess not, so in the march bus we go

Sausage1990 · 16/02/2020 15:51

Hi everyone I'm officially moving to the march bus too!

Currently in cycle 3 TTC for #1. I'm not due to ovulate until the beginning of March (I have long cycles) so I'm just going to chill for a bit & enjoy this quiet time before all the POAS starts again haha.
I'll likely use opk and track my CM again this month but will definitely be BD more than the last 2 cycles. DH is fully on board with more frequent BD (as you can imagine lol) as he's super keen for babies.

I'm with you @Hatepickinganame I've got good vibes for March Smile I feel like it's going to bring us luck!!!

littletandme · 16/02/2020 16:19

Hi everyone, I think we should practise some self care and love for the rest of this month. I know I find it difficult to take time for myself and getting so stressed with TTC it really gets me down. Think I need to pick up some books again and do some reading to destress!

OP posts:
Hatepickinganame · 16/02/2020 17:45

@Sausage1990 im definitely feeling more positive, the chat with oh about actively trying made me feel better lol i did feel like i was more keen than him even though weve discussed it before coming off contraceptive. Turns out he's just as on board as me and apparently more so (i was thinking one more, he's apparently thinking about more 😂) due to ov around 26th feb according to my app, which is CD16 of 30 so sounds about right. Still avoiding opks at the moment, too worried ill be putting too much pressure on us. Will see how this month goes! Every time i see ewcm it'll be dtd time 😂

@littletandme sounds amazing, any books you can recommend? Last good one i read was cilkas story, the sequel to the tattooist of auschwitz x

littletandme · 16/02/2020 17:54

@Hatepickinganame oh god, I haven't read a "proper" book in years, the last one I read in the space of a week was Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris, if you psychological thriller type things. I currently have the first in the series of Jackie Collins books which I started on our last holiday as a bit of light (total trash but guilty pleasure type) reading but I've not finished that yet!

OP posts:
Hatepickinganame · 16/02/2020 19:11

@littletandme ive never really read any thrillers, i still read YA fantasy ( twilight 😂) and i love a good second world war novel. To be fair what i should do is finishing writing my own bloody book before i have a baby taking up all my time lol

NChangeForNoReason · 17/02/2020 08:39

Ovulation is supposed to be today, AF due 1st March - going out on 29th so deffo won't be early testing Confused

And so the dreaded 2WW starts all over again!!!

littletandme · 17/02/2020 08:59

My app doesn't know what to think this month, was originally predicting ov quite late in my cycle but then had a positive opk really early so it had my at ovulating on CD7! Now every day I don't get a raised temp I have to manually tell it I haven't ovulated and it just moves it on by a day 🙄

Franklydear · 17/02/2020 12:28

Fertility window on, allegedly, so lots of DTD and relax until mid march, don't worry, that tune will change soon enough...
