BFP fainter with FMU and darker in the afternoon

I got a very faint BFP yesterday morning at 9dpo. I took another test in the afternoon and it was still faint but definitely positive and darker. This morning I took another test with FMU expecting it to be darker but it was very faint (like the day before). I felt pretty down about it so took another test early afternoon and it was darker which I'm happy about but isn't FMU meant to be more concentrated? I've had quite a few miscarriages so on high alert for bad news. Did anyone else have stronger BFPs later in the day? I know I should stop testing but let's assume I have no self control, in which case, should I just stop testing first thing and just test on the afternoon?

Hi Aria
I had the same issue. Would always get negatives in the morning and then very strong positives in the evening time before bed. This started probably 11DPO. Now they are positive all through the day and I'm 1 week past my missed AF.
I thought fmu was more concentrated, but I get up in the night to go to the loo, that's the only thing I could think that was affecting the tests.
Try waiting another couple of days, or at least until you miss AF and then you should start getting positive tests in the morning x

@BMWL thanks for the reply. I get up in the night to wee too and I've felt quite thirsty these last few days so drinking quite a bit in the evening so maybe that's contribution to it too? I'll have to just wait and see what happens in the next week or so. Thanks again and congratulations!

@Whyhaveidonethis thanks for that link! Seems I'm not in the minority with getting stronger results later in the day. Thank you!
