Hi ladies, so basically I've created this thread to bring together some ladies all trying to conceive who want to share the journey with other ladies in the same position. I Google constantly and most posts are old so thought perfect time to start a new one. I am currently on cycle day 20 and 3 (I think) days past ovulation. My cycles have been all over the place since having my implant removed end of September last year. One cycle was 22 days the next was 33 days and the last cycle was 25 days ap basically I am in limbo when AF is due this month! With a bit of luck she doesn't show! So come on ladies let's take this journey together x

@mamatoamberplusbump thinking of you, positives are that your cycle is becoming more regular, will make the next cycle easier to track. I'm on CD18 with irregular cycles. Have been peeing on sticks twice a day with nothing at all until late last night when I got my peak on a clear blue test, no warning, no CM, negative test that morning 🙄. My other half is working away so I'm hoping on the train tonight to go and see him. Hopefully it's not too late.

Hi everyone,
I’m new here. We have started ttc in October but I’m only just starting to get a better understanding of what my body is doing. Since stopping the pill middle of last year I have found I have fairly short cycles of 24days. I’m currently on day 13 of my cycle and approximately 1/2 DPO although I had some pain yesterday and this morning which I suspect could be ovulation pain. I have not tried ovulation tests yet but may give them a try if I don’t get a BFP this month.
Looking forward to following everyone’s journey. It’s nice to be able to talk to other people about it other than DH Smile

Hello Everyone 👋🏻

First proper post on here although I've been reading for a little while. We are about to start our journey trying to conceive baby number 1. I'm 33 (tomorrow) and OH is 35. I've been off the pill for a long time and despite being told 6 years ago I had PCOS I was actually told 3 years ago I don't. My periods are pretty regular - 33/34 days - and have been for a while although they can be quite light which is a little concerning for me although I'm not sure if this means anything. I've tracked my cycle for years through habit so have a pretty good idea what's going on but have just order the clear blue fertility monitor this week to be sure on things. I'm also thinking of getting a fertility cup, as I have suffered for years with UTIs so I'm supposed to wee right after sex in case of bacteria and I don't want to lose all the goodness (!!!). I've just started on conception vitamins too and getting some for OH to take too. We are going to New York in a few weeks so plan on starting during my next cycle in March so I'll be in my first TWW early April which still feels miles away but going to do as much as I can over the next few weeks to make a hospitable environment! I'm so excited for this journey and to meet lots of new friends to share it with too ❤️

Introvert86 · 08/02/2020 16:51

@Rachelrainbow that is definitely a positive OPK. I didn't get on with those sticks and clear blue OPKs seem to give me more accurate results. I would also reccomend doing 2 a day as I have had different results morning and evening.
@2020journey welcome and fingers crossed for your hospitable environment 🙂. I'm currently in my TWW and trying not to daydream too much about a BFP

mamatoamberplusbump · 12/02/2020 10:01

That is a definite positive opk!! Good luck 💞💞 I've been quiet on this for few days as we were celebrating my daughters 10th birthday, period finished two days ago so another month another chance of conceiving, everybody keep your fingers crossed!

Aww massive good luck hun on your new journey please keep in touch on this and let us know how your getting on xxz

Just wondered how everyone is getting on? Fast approaching our fertile stage here now Grin

mamatoamberplusbump · 30/03/2020 18:35

@2020Journey hey hun! I am on CD27 due on tomorrow. Symptoms include the usual abdominal cramping, slight lower back pain, slight breakout on skin, boobs feel a bit tender and nipple sensitivity. Only difference for me this time is I have used two opk tests today and the one I took an hour ago is same as control band, one this morning was almost positive. I didnt have any pg tests but usually my opks are stark white or extremely faint before missed period. Only thing making me think maybe? But I know opks can pick you lh surge before AF so going by rest of my symptoms I'm almost certain she will be here tomorrow. How are you getting on :) x

Woke up today expecting AF as she is usually there in morning, but nothing. Took another opk and it's a strong positive. Going to test in the morning. Still intermitted dull cramping and breast tenderness x

Still no period this morning, waiting on few different tests arriving in post. Cramps are gone, breasts still tender but now have a heightened sense of smell and have felt nauseous since last night! Almost certain in pregnant. Will update later once I've tested x

It on the off chance anybody is still following this, I got my BFP yesterday on two different tests! Had all my usual PMS symptoms only thing that threw me off was a dark red positive opk lol. Baby dust to you all xx

CoronaVera · 02/04/2020 13:57

Congrats!

That's reassuring. I'm having all my usual PMS symptoms and I'm due AF on Sat. BFN this morning but maybe there's a sliver of a chance.

Really happy for you.

mamatoamberplusbump · 05/04/2020 12:28

@CoronaVera thank you! Was shocked as my cramp was just like AF cramps! Currently 4 weeks and 4 days and cramps have gone every so often feel a niggle and my nipples are sore, and the odd time feel nauseous. Have acupressure anti sickness bands already and anti sickness meds at the ready for when I need them as I suffer from hypermesis gravidarum. First scan is on 3rd June same day as the babies dads birthday. First midwife app on 12th may x

I’ve tested positive too!!!

Third day of positives today. I’m going to ring to book in tomorrow assuming all still good. I think I’m 4+5 today. Ish.

CoronaVera · 05/04/2020 12:38

Oh woops. I mean 3+5 obviously as I’m behind you.
