1DPO - the TWW begins

Anyone in the same boat and fancy some company over the next couple of weeks?

I'm 32, DH 31 - TTC#1 and this is cycle 3.

@Gems7, started trying in December, I had the implant removed in October and wanted to see how long it would take for my cycle to return, got AF a week after it was removed then it's been between 28 and 30 days.
How long have you been TTC?

@Posie8 since last August although it feels like forever. First month using OPK's though and I've realized my apps are out by a few days with ovulation. This month I've ovulated on CD15 or 16 and my apps think CD13 so I've probably been getting it wrong the whole time 😃🤦🏻‍♀️
Fingers crossed I've got it right this time!

I'm feeling relatively relaxed at the moment ... not symptom spotting - yet! Anyone else? Am I right in thinking symptoms wouldn't start until after implantation, or do some occur after fertilisation?

So combo of OPK and BBT suggesting different ovulation days has got me slightly nervous but I feel like we’ve done all we can... 10 day wait now! I’ve got it my head it won’t be this cycle but maybe that’s just self preservation

I'm currently having a lazy Saturday night and have planned quiet drinks with a friend tomorrow afternoon (already feeling guilty and wondering if I should cancel "just in case") haven't seen her in ages though.. it's so hard isn't it! Trying to be careful and do everything right but also live your life.
How about you hun? You have anything planned? Good luck for this cycle xx

@Gems7 I’d just try and enjoy yourself tbh, don’t go mad but a glass or two will be fine. Even if you are pregnant the egg won’t have implanted or be sharing your blood supply yet.

4DPO and I’m already symptom spotting. It’s going to be a long week 😬

Thanks @BuffaloCauliflower I didn't cancel, as long as I have a couple I should be okay. Counting myself as 7DPO today so slim chance I've actually implanted yet.

AF is due Saturday for me..
This time last cycle my boobs were really sore from now until AF.. but they aren't tender in the slightest currently.. I keep poking them and they are absolutely fine 😃🤷🏻‍♀️ .. xx

Can I please join as I'm also 43 (literally only just, birthday was a week ago) and I'm TTC #1. It's nice to see some women my age in the thread as I'm feeling worried about my age and having left it this late.

I'm 1DPO. Due around 14/15 Feb.

Yes I feel the same at 43, a bit too old and doubtful I am able to get pregnant. So I've no symptoms and AF due thursday. Only thing I had this month was cramping for about 30mins yesterday. Due feel narky like when due on was a bit short to my kids today. I usually get spotting before my period two days before period so maybe I'm feeling out xx

I'm 7 DPO now. Genuinely been having weird twinges in my lower tummy and slight weird pain in my perenium area. Today I feel bloated but craving bread & chocolate which is weird for me. I dont eat bread normally. And now have aching lower back and thighs.
Trouble is the aching could be due to the running I've been doing, but it's not he normal pains I get.
Hate symptom spotting this early !
AF isn't due till 10th feb according to my app but I feel like how I do at the start of my period .
But I refuse to test until I'm late. I'm terrible once I start with the tests I keep going till AF arrives!!

@ladytmp I know how you feel. I'm roughly 8-10 dpo and feel so bloated today (and gassy ) the only time I've felt this uncomfortable is after Christmas dinners. But I don't want to get my hopes up when it turns out I just needed a good trump.
Also tired but have an 18mo DD who doesn't sleep well so that doesn't mean bfp either.

How's everyone doing this morning? I'm 6-7dpo and have nothing to symptom spot! On the one hand I'm thinking that's good as the last 2 cycles had AF symptoms that I was convinced were something! 😂

Have a really ominous meeting at work today ... (pretty sure some sort of restructure) which isn't helping the stress!

Welcome @bitheby Good luck for this month hun. It is worrying as you get older isn't it, I'm 35 (almost 36) but I'm in a much better place financially and emotionally and relationship wise than I was in my twenties. Fingers crossed we all get our happy ending.
I'm the same as you @ladytmp I hold off with the tests, I don't even have any in the house, only when and if AF is late will I go out and excitedly buy one.
@Em4815 I am 7/8 DPO and absolutely no symptoms to spot either hun. I feel totally fine! My boobs aren't even hurting and they usually are by this time! My last 2 cycles have been 27 days so if that's the case this time round then AF due Sat!

Well im currently 8dpo and driving myself symptom spotting and needing to POAS !!!

i am convinced I'm ‘feeling pregnant’ im sure the body and mind plays tricks on me because of wishful thinking!!! Good luck ladies .....

I’m about 6 DPO (due on Monday/Tuesday) and definitely symptom spotting. Twinges in general tube area, and in my legs/tummy, some discharge yesterday which isn’t normal for me at this point of my cycle. I’m pretty lucky on periods and period symptoms so don’t really get much more than some back pain and tiredness in the 5 days running up, so wouldn’t expect to have many symptoms (no idea if that’s logic) when I was briefly pregnant before I had very sore heavy boobs when I should have been due so keeping an eye out for that... but needing to convince myself it’ll be a no so I’m prepared. I don’t want to be super obsessive about it but it’s hard not to be

@BuffaloCauliflower sounds interesting if you don't usually get many symptoms! I'm not being as bad at the symptom spotting this month but mainly cos I haven't really had any. I did have a sharp twinge earlier whilst just sitting at my desk which was noticeable (enough for me to put my hand there and have an intake of breath) but I did have a twinge a couple of months ago and that was nothing! According to First response and clear blue sites I could test on 8th/9th ... if I can wait I will though!

I wouldn’t test before 10DPO if I were you. Even with a FRER 8/9 is still pretty early. I’m going to try and hold on till Sunday (11DPO) if I can

Ah sorry! 9th/10th of the month for me - very confusing!

I feel like this is the only place its acceptable to admit ur checking the tissue for any signs each time u pee 😂 now 9DPO , 6days till AF ... still refuse to test till I'm late though. Could have sworn the other day my period was coming , all the symptoms minus the blood... it was very peculiar. Also had some super thick discharge (sorry( and whilst I was running the other day I had that heart stopping moment when I felt something 'drop' down there and had to come off the treadmill and stealthily check my rear in the mirrors to see if AF had reared her ugly head early !!

I'm 9 dpo , I have my eBay pregnancy texts coming tomorrow ready for the weekend !

Few signs so far , boobs hurt , lower back ache and so much bloating !

Hopefully going to test Friday
