Needing some advice maybe someone who's been in this situation or had experience with this sort of thing. I had an ectopic pregnancy last month and trying to get back on track luckily it passed on its own without counting it as an ectopic my last cycle lasted 34 days I'm now on cycle #2 and I'm on cycle day 20 and had no sign of a positive opk I've had ups and downs with them going to 0.32 being the highest and 0.01 being the lowest since cycle day 6 I'm getting disheartened thinking I won't ovulate this month and already out this is our 14th week of ttc I know it hasn't been that long and there is ladies out there ttc for 6+ months and 2+years but I'm feeling like it's never going to happen. I'm supposed to ovulate tomorrow according to my app but opks don't seem to be getting close to any type of positive not even slightly dark any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

I had an ectopic 2 years ago which ruptured and I lost my left tube. I then had a period about a week after my surgery which seemed to reset me back to normal and I managed to get pregnant again the next month (apparently a loss can make you more fertile, as we had spent 12 months ttc before all of that that!)
Anyway- if your loss occurred naturally then it might mean you take a little longer to go back to your normal cycles while your hormones settle down. Take this time to look after yourself, as hard as that can be, and take hope from the fact you DID conceive so can again. I found Tommys a good resource for the weeks after my loss.

It doesn't matter if it's your first cycle or 51st- once you decide you want a baby it's quite simply HARD, and going through the rollercoaster you've had over the last couple of months it's normal to feel deflated. No one knows if this will be the month for them which is why forums like these are good for being a place to vent in the meantime. But when you do get your bfp that turns into a baby all of this is worth it!

@sammyclaire22 thank you for that I Really needed to hear some positive news! The way me and dh looked at it was we can conceive so we just need to try again but waiting for things to get back to normal is horrible I'm not keen on this waiting game lol x
