Are symptoms in tww really that important??

Cycle 2 ttc #1 ... I know I've only just started but I've wanted this for as long as I can remember and it's so hard at times. As bitter as it sounds, the worst bit is friends and family around you getting pregnant.

So my question is, why do we all drive ourselves mad symptom spotting during tww, isn't it likely that symptoms during tww are actually the minority of cases, with most women having no telltale sings before bfp??

Anyone here had a bfp without loads of symptoms before missed period ?x

Not everyone has symptoms, I was 11 weeks pregnant before I realised. Congrats on your BFP, hope you have a happy healthy pregnancy x

@Monsterjam thank you ! I am now just paralyzed with fear haha I just don't know where to start.. Thank you all for your responses though, it's good to know you don't need to be having blatant symptoms to be doing ok !! 😍

@Newbie1992 yes very first BFP! Am on 1st cycle of trying, so feeling really lucky... I'm 12dpo today ; but got my first SUPER squinter on 10dpo, and a normal squinter yesterday haha, both on IC's. But I count today as mu actual BFP day, as I did 2 tests this morning, and both were pretty easy to read (attached pic, because I love it hihihi...)

I am also feeling SO scared!! Told my husband this morning, he was so happy... But I'm so worried something is going to go wrong now...

@Newbie1991 I also didn't have any symptoms!!! They only really started yesterday once I'd had my squinter BFP ; so could very well have been in my head lol!

If you're in the UK, in most places there's no need to see a doctor. They take your word for it that you've had a positive test, no one will need to confirm. Call your GP and ask what the procedure is- in many places you self-refer to the midwife. Congratulations! Smile
