Anyone else 5dpo and going slowly insane?!
Even then not too sure when I ovulated since my OPK was positive and then had ovulation pain and EWCM 4 days later. Think I'm just holding out hope that my hormones are back to normal after coming off the pill a just over month ago.
Anyone else in a similar situation?

Looking at it here it's pretty obviously a BFN 😂
Now to wait a few more days til I use the other FRER!

You're not the only one, I've done so many tests that have been BFN and I just spend ages searching for a line that isn't there! But definitely can see something. Do another test with first urine tomorrow morning and let me know.

So it seems I'm out this month 😞. Had bright red blood when wiping last night, and my usual kind of spotting this morning! Onto next month!

Which is weird as I could have sworn I saw the faintest of lines on a cheapie test this morning!

@H8624 same! AF in full force. Bright red this morning and now dark red and clots. Full blown cramps too so no mistaking it! At least now I can start fresh next month now I've had my first proper AF since coming off the pill. Gonna try and do it properly next month since my cycle was clockwork before the pill. I know my cycle well so should be able to get on track for this cycle. So, back to CD1! 😂

How weird sounds like we're both very similar!

Mine is still spotting at the moment but I always get this for a few days before AF 'properly' comes along. Now worrying if I spot at 9/10dpo maybe my luteal phase is too short!

Onto cycle 2...

@H8624 yours still could be IB. If it doesn't get any heavier then there's still a chance! Especially if you're only 8DPO. Either that or like you said, your LP is quite short. How did you know you ovulated?

@Lilcl95 I'm still holding a tiny bit of hope but today is just like my spotting usually starts so sadly think it's just that! Also the light pink started 3/4 days ago so I fed like 4/5 days of IB would be a lot!

I was using CB advanced sticks and got my peak on the Wednesday and therefore would have Od either thurs/fri. What are you using to track? I have cheap one step ones as well but have so much trouble reading the lines!

I use just the cheap Asda OPK tests and then just go by EWCM and ovulation cramps. I had a positive OPK 2 days before I had ovulation pain on my left side.
Tbh the spotting is exactly what happened to me. I had pink and then brown for 2 days and now proper AF. Fingers crossed anyway but if not there's always next cycle

Ah sorry to hear about AF @lilcl95 fingers crossed for next cycle. I took another FRER today, I don't think there's anything there. I think if it's positive you shouldn't have to search for a line as hard as I do! Will try and wait a few days now, I'm all out of tests anyway so will just have to resist temptation to buy any more.

So weirdly my spotting is only when I wipe and now back to brown rather than red! I think I'm clutching at straws though and should accept I'm out this month.

I can't see anything on that I'm afraid. But if AF hasn't turned up you're not out yet! Have you had spotting or anything? If not and you're due it's a good sign!

@lostfrequencies yeah that one looks negative. Hold off for a few days and then retest and see! Got everything crossed for you.

Oh I have no idea what is going on now!

Spotting has stopped now - was a tiny bit of brown on TP this morning and nothing since?! Tested this morning and BFN - I think my mind/body/cycle is playing cruel tricks on me to get my hopes up!

I mean realistically I know it's not going to be positive as I had red the other day, I'm just so confused!

Guess I'll find out if AF turns up tomo/weds... the wait and whole 'what if' is breaking me!

@H8624 implantation can sometimes be red, as long as there's no clots. If it is implantation bleeding, BFP wouldn't show for a few days until hormones have kicked in. Try and stay positive but at the same time if it's AF there's still next cycle! I'm trying not to let myself get too down about AF but gonna get some conceive plus for next cycle and some OPKs and just really get on it. I wasn't really going all out last cycle so we shall see.

@Lilcl95 that's very true! A good way to look at it as well.

I haven't used conceive plus but I have used pre seed and I think it's quite similar - can recommend that one if you're interested!

@everpessimistic you can? I've just ordered some more FRERs. I'm due on thurs - sat (irregular cycles).

@H8624 I've heard mixed reviews for preseed. I've only ever heard positive stuff about conceive plus, and it's cheaper too so I'll give both a go.

Onto cycle 2 now then! AF arrived in the end, altho I had a weird 2 day period which was odd compared to usual! But hey ho onto cycle 2... luckily work was mega busy this week which kept my mind off things during the day!

Fertile week is next week so let's see what that brings.

@H8624 same except my AF was the usual 4-5 days. Just finished now, fertile window this cycle is 11 days according to Flo... OH is clearly devastated that it's 11 days of DTD 😂 we've got some Conceive Plus at the ready but have decided not to waste it until I'm actually fertile.
