This can't be a real line surely?

Hey, so this is my story. Had coil removed February 2019, had first period April time. Been ttc ever since. Had some Dodgy lines a few months ago. Last month December I had a positive frer a week before af was due. Had a couple more Faint lines throughout the week also some negatives. Had a gynaecologist appointment on the 19th , had internal scan etc etc not to do with pregnancy but my endo. He scanned my womb and everything so I know I wasn't pregnant well he never mentioned it. I was due period 20th, bang on time although after scan I was spotting so I think he brought it on a bit. Anyway very heavy bleed for half a day on the 20th and then spotting for 2 More days after that. Nothing like a real period at all. Ever since haven't really had any signs of ovulation or anything haven't tracked this month. Just dtd for 4 days in a row leading up to new year and then on the 3rd. Anyway tonight whilst sitting alone I thought I'd do a test.. don't know why and it was only an internet cheapie. But there's a faint line? If I ovulated when I should have (like the same as last month) this could only make me 6-8dpo maybe before I don't actually know this month at all. Photo is attached. Do you think that's possible or should I count this an an Evap or false positive? I will test again later after I've held for another couple hours. Any help would be great. I am not getting hopes up as wayyyy to early I think. It's a squinter but there and within a min or two xx

@Mich2020 negative tests are so disappointing. Perhaps for the sake of your wallet and your sanity don't test for a few days. If AF shows then you will have one answer but if not then go to the Dr and have bloods done? As a previous poster said, they were 10 days late before they got BFP, you are 4 I think now? Why not work out what day you are 10-12 days late and make a dr appointment for then, and if you get an answer in between then and now you can cancel it. I've been pregnant a few times and with the first 4 pregnancies I got BFP a week before AF was due but with the 5th pregnancy I kept getting negatives until I was 2 days late. I used ALOT of tests that time 😂 I've decided to hold off testing until Monday and if AF shows in the mean time them I won't fee like an arsehole for wasting the tests and getting my hopes up. Xxx

Hi guys so I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow evening. I'll keep you all posted xxx

Lorddenning1 · 22/01/2020 20:13

@Mich2020 what are your normal cycle lengths, how long have you been ttc?

Mich2020 · 22/01/2020 21:57

@Kendrick12 good luck for tomorrow. Shall await your update 😊
@Lorddenning1 had coil out last February, periods returned in April and been ttc ever since. I have severe endometriosis and waiting on surgery. My cuddles usually 28-32 days but actually for the past 2-3 months bang on 30 days so currently 4 days late. It's so hard this ttc malarkey. I have two children aged 11 and 8 so it's been a long time. They were both conceived very easily xx

@Mich2020 sleep well! X

Mich2020 · 23/01/2020 17:52

@Kendrick12 how did you get on? Xx

Lorddenning1 · 23/01/2020 18:41

@Mich2020 I think I would be going to the docs soon and asking to be referred to a fertility clinic, are you over 35, if so u can be referred after 6 months of ttc

Mich2020 · 23/01/2020 18:55

@Lorddenning1 no I'm 28 next month, but hoping my surgery will sort me out and he's doing a laparoscopy and tube dye in a fertile enhancing way, and then I think if nothing after I think he will keep me under them to see if they can help. I have a different partner now, but he has a child that's nearly 7 so it's not like it should be him xx

@mich2020 the doctor was fab!! She has taken swabs, I'm booked in for bloods to check hormone levels as well as a load of other things like ovarian cysts etc and she has also put a request in for a scan to check there's no issues with anything then wants to see me to make a plan. Xxx

Mich2020 · 23/01/2020 20:30

Ahh @Kendrick12 that's reassuring, when do you have your bloods? Any sign of af yet? At least you have something in place now and hopefully will be on the right track xx

Mich2020 · 23/01/2020 20:51

Now this could just be an even line, but I've peed about 20 times today, most recent before this test about 30-45 mins.. I'm sure I see something. And considering my pee was very diluted I Still think if I was actually pregnant the line would be full on by now and not this squinter ☹️ will do the other frer with fmu xx

@Mich2020 still no AF and no sign of it apart from mega sore boobs. Absolutely no other signs at all. It's so bizarre! Never had this before in my life. However like you say at least I now have a plan. My bloods are booked for Wednesday as I don't work a Wednesday, they offered me tomorrow but I'm a teacher so it's a nightmare trying to get a supply for medical appointments! 🙄🙄 how late are you now?? I see a faint lobe on your test. Keeping everything crossed for you! 🤞🤞🤞 are you going to do another one in the morning?? Xxx

Mich2020 · 23/01/2020 21:23

I have no signs either. Not even the sore boobs 🤔 just odd strong painful cramps that come and go throughout the day. Feels like someone ripping my insides out when I get them.
Ah fair one, hopefully you'll get some answers then, are they going to check for pregnancy with your bloods? I'm on cd35 of a usual 28-30 day cycle so quite late now, although I'm sure my tests would be stronger. I knew I shouldn't have taken this one tonight as I have been on the loo all day ☹️ yes think I'm going to use fmu as long as no af tonight. Then should get a definite answer.
If negative will try and book in drs for Friday it would have then been 6 weeks since my last period xx

calimommy · 23/01/2020 22:53

@Mich2020 that's the first time I've seen a line on one of your tests, definitely test in the morning 🤞🤞🤞

calimommy · 23/01/2020 22:53

Although crippling pains are not good so keep an eye on that!!

Mich2020 · 24/01/2020 07:20

Today's frer the line is more obvious in real life. It's definitely there..ahh why is this happening? Surely it should be big and bold!!

OP posts:
Mich2020 · 24/01/2020 10:32

This is the tests together 🤔 definitely a line on the bottom one. Just want definite answers really this is so frustrating xx

TripleASays · 24/01/2020 12:46

I can see a line on the bottom test.

I am cd36, and usually have 28 day cycles. My GP said to test in a week's time as some tests are just not sensitive enough to pick anything up even at this stage.

Hope your BFP comes soon!

Mich2020 · 24/01/2020 13:32

@TripleASays thanks 😊 just so frustrating isn't it.xx

OP posts:
TripleASays · 24/01/2020 13:57

Very frustrating but this time next week, I am sure things will be a lot clearer for both of us :)

Mich2020 · 24/01/2020 13:59

Have you had any hint of a line or anything? I'm never this late ever..xx

OP posts:
calimommy · 24/01/2020 15:40

I can see it on the bottom test but not the top 👍

calimommy · 24/01/2020 17:02

Just got AF and feeling so disappointed. Going to start taking Angus Castus again as it seemed to work the last time.

TripleASays · 24/01/2020 18:24

I haven't tested yet! I'm too nervous and have spent so much on tests over the past few months that I'm resisting the urge and waiting til next week.
