Coming off the pill to conceive

Hi all. We have decided to try for a baby. I was taking cerelle but came off it on the 9th december. Normally if I miss a pill for a couple of days (if I havent collected from docs before a weekend) I have a bleed a day or 2 after miss the pill. I havent had any sort of bleeding at all. We first had unprotected sex on the 12th December and have had it regularly since. I have done a few tests and all negative. I'm really confused as to why I havent even had a bit of spotting as I usually do. Or could I be pregnant but to early to show on test? This will be my 3rd pregnancy. Can you please give me your experiences as its driving me crazy not having any bleeding and not being pregnant.

I reckon our bodies know we want a specific thing to happen and are deliberately fucking with us. When I was ttc after having copper coil out, my lovely regular 28-29 day cycles turned into a random 26-35 day mess, with no fake hormones thrown into the mix either. Also - you become hyper aware of everything going on with your cycles, when before you may not have paid any attention, so it's really mentally hard.

Fingers crossed everything gets regular for you, so all you have to focus on is the precise timing of sex - such fun! (No, I did not enjoy ttc - it's a mindfuck!)

I feel exactly the same. I hate not knowing what's going on with my body and not knowing when I'll be having AF. At least with a normal cycle I know if I'm pregnant or not but not having AF means it's a constant guessing game!

I came off the pill early Oct, had a withdrawal bleed Nov 20 for a few days but since then nothing at all!! So frustrating not knowing what’s going on.

Well still no bleed at all and no positive result. The discharge has stopped now but my nipples are sore and I've been constipated for 3 days! I've downloaded the ovia app and have been tracking everything g for the 10 days and it suggests a pregnancy test in a weeks time. If I still haven't bled or got a result, I'm going to the doctors x

Finally got my period today 😊 can now relax knowing my body is back to normal and can start trying properly! Its taken 6 weeks! X

@KKMK had a period for a week and no back to it. I'm due on the end of the month so will see what happens. How are you getting on? X

I had my first bleed on the 3rd jan for 5 days and know I’m almost 5 weeks pregnant. So I’ve really got my fingers crossed for you this month. Good luck!

Oh wow! That's really good, congratulations. How long after your bleed did you do a test? I'm hoping I am too but it's way to early for a test. We have been doing it quite a bit so fingers crossed! @KKMK

I think I got first faint 21 day’s later. But I didn’t believe it till I saw the words ‘positive’ which was 28 days later. I knew though I’ve felt sick and sore boobs for the past ten days

Aww, I'm so happy for you @KKMK . My app tells me to wait another 2 weeks before doing a test. I stopped bleeding on the 24th jan x

This is my results this morning. I'm not actually due for my period until sunday. I weed a little on the control window, not got good aim 😅 what do you all think?

This is today's but I've only just done it. Going to one first thing in morning. I'm due my period tomorrow and my app says I can do a test in 3 days @KKMK

I'm far to impatient to wait and I feel like I am, extra tired and my boobs feel heavier and seem bigger. All could also be PMS so I'll just have to wait and seem just want to see 2 lines!

well i don’t know what the mini pill has done to me but ever since i stop in april i have been feel absolutely rubbish every symptoms you can think with no actual results at the end the months we are on cycle 10 ttc 2
people who started trying same time are either pregnant or just having there baby
does anyone else feel poorly most of the time ?

I came off cerezette/cerelle in the middle of June last year. I've had some crazy long cycles lasting up to 50 days.
I was on the devil pill for 8 and a half years and I'm pretty sure it's buggered up my fertility.
Worst thing being is that I know time isn't on my side as I'm 40 next month which sucks!

Oh no, I feel for you both @CrazyFooLady and @Mrslane2019. Hoping you both settle and get the results you want soon. I havent stopped for as long as you both have I can reccomend downloading the ovia app to track everything. So far it's been spot on for me. I came off my pill the 9th dec and didnt get my first bleed until the 19th jan which was very stressful waiting over a month, let alone the lengths you have. I'm due on tomorrow so fingers crossed I dont. My boobs are heavier and nipples tender plus i feel so tired and sicky and slight cramps but could all be signs of PMS too! It's frustrating isn't it! Di you have any other children? X

I have 3 kids from a previous relationship they are 13,9 and 8.
Never thought I would be doing this ever again let alone getting into another relationship.......... actually I'm getting married in 6 weeks lol.
But it's like I've promised to give him something that I'm having trouble giving him, which sucks.

I came off the pill (after approx. 10 years - during which my period basically disappeared) in September, had withdrawal early November, and late November had what I think was my first period. Since then, my cycle varied in terms of duration (33 November to December/27 days December to January), and I am due again tomorrow.
I am 31 years old, is there any specific test I can have to check my fertility status? I feel like after all these years trying NOT to get pregnant, now it’s going to be extremely difficult TTC :(

Well period due today and hasnt arrived. I did a cheap test early this morning, around 6am and was sure there was a faint line. Just done a clear blue digital and it said not pregnant. My app says to do a test in 3 days. So is it possible I could be but still too early?

I got a positive on co-op own brand two days before a positive on clear blue digital.

@KKMK I've used the cheap ones off Amazon and swear I can see a faint line. Clear blue was nothing so I've ordered some first response 6 days early ones. I think I'm actually due on tuesday so will see. I feel like I'm going mad again!
