How long to conceive at 37?

Hi! Hope everyone is well. I am wondering about what is 'normal' with regards to conception at age 37! I conceived in April 2019 by surprise and unplanned - however in July 2019 I suffered a miscarriage at 12 weeks. Obviously it was a very upsetting time despite the pregnancy being unplanned. We have been trying to conceive ever since with no luck - I have regular periods so can time my ovulation but we don't seem to be getting anywhere. Last month I was 4 days late for my period and my period was SO heavy - I was wondering if that could have been significant? Anyway - just wondering how long it took other people at my age and if I should be getting checked out? Thanks! Smile

I’m 37 and conceived on the second month of trying. Sadly that ended in miscarriage at 5+3, which was two weeks ago. But I was surprised it happened as fast as it did, as I was fully expecting to take months at my age. I was using the Clear Blue advanced ovulation kit, even though I knew my cycles really well, and they definitely helped!

Ahh so many different stories! Makes me feel better - also I'll definitely be getting an ovulation kit as I do just go off my periods which are 30 days apart every month. I do think i possibly ovulate a bit earlier though so that's worth looking in to! I'll give it a few more months with ovulation sticks then see a Dr if I'm still struggling. Thanks so much for all of the help xxx
