Tracking ovulation - flashing smily for 8 days, no LH surge? 36 yrs old

We've been TTC to 2 cycles now (everyone seems to be conceiving in their first cycle Confused) I've been tracking my ovulation with clearblue digital - last cycle I got 4 days of flashing smilys and the 5th solid) this cycle I've had 8 days of flashing smily's and no solid.

Is it fair to assume that the tracked oestrogen levels have been high but I've had no LH and therefore an anovulation cycle? Feeling a bit tearful as at 36 I'm worried that my window is getting smaller - when I spoke to my gp they said that you now only get tested after 12 months of failing to conceive Sad

Hi. I'm also 36 and currently pregnant. I used the clearblue digitals and swear by them. I would say if you haven't had a static yet then you may not have ovulated this month, sorry. Did you try testing ridiculously early for the length of your cycles? How long are they? At least you had a static the month before so at least you know you can ovulate. Wishing you lots of luck x

Don't become too disheartened, it's perfectly normal to have an annovulatory cycle every now and then.

I use those tests and am shocked to see that each month is so different, for when I ovulate to how many days of flashing smileys I get before a static, it's really normal for this kind of thing to happen and your not old, there's plenty of us the wrong side of 30 here ttc Grin don't be too harsh on yourself, xx
