Implanon removal impact on periods

It's just a question really - I had my implant out about 4 months ago and since then I've had 1-2 day light periods. They've been pretty regular, but it's making me worry because pre-implant my periods were 4-5 days long and very heavy.
I'm not desperate to have long/heavy/painful periods but the fact they've gone away is making me worry about my fertility - that was my 'normal'.
Has anyone else had this side effect from having the implant removed?

Hey, I had the implant and it took me around 6 months to get pregnant first time round however I did not get a period before falling pregnant. However I do have endometriosis - I only found this out in June which affects my ability to conceive. I am currently TTC for baby #2 at the moment but this time around I have had my coil removed. I know it's normal for it to take a while after having the implant out as I went to my GP about this x

Hi there. I had my implant out in early September then had a period almost immediately. Then I had quite irregular and unpredictable cycles (quite long and heavy too) but anyhow...my last period was the second week of November and we got a BFP on 13 December! We didn't expect to get pregnant quite so soon so we have everything crossed that all stays well.

Thanks for sharing ladies. And massive congratulations @LTofBR3 !!

Someone I know went through early Menopause so I think I'm just stressing unnecessarily! I don't have other issues though.
Also don't want to go to docs if they're just going to tell me it's normal for a while and fertility likely totally fine. Just feels really odd because I'm usually so regular when not on the pill/implant/coil etc - and I'm kinda annoyed that the doctor didn't tell me anything about this when it was getting removed if it's relatively common.
