So I'm due the 24th.

Yesterday I took a pregnancy test that I purchased from Tesco. It was faint, but over 4 hours it became dark (pic included)

Tried CB digital and rapid detection and both came out not pregnant and no faint line at all.

In the past I have got positives on digitals around this time. So I'm not sure if it's a false positive (Tesco are apparently known for this if going by their reviews online recently) or Evap? Or could it be a bfp?

The only way you'll know for sure is to test again, with a different brand. So many people have gotten false positives from the Tesco ones. I hope you get the result you want! xx

Try first response early result. They get the best reviews. I agree with pp about tesco tests giving false positives.

There's a reason they tell you not to refer back to the test after a certain amount of time.
Give it a few days and try again. Good luck x

The instructions are to test and read within 2 minutes. If you wait for hours, any stick will eventually look like a positive , because of the time factor. You will only get an accurate result if you read at the correct time.

What was the outcome @steakandmantoo?

steakandmantoo · 31/12/2019 11:01

@TulipsTwoLips I came on my period a few days late but I don't believe I was pregnant! A big fat fake line! I also tested with other brands and were all BFN !
