Ok so I ran out of pregnancy tests, and I've been having a few symptoms that could be pmt or pregnancy! So I read that you can use an opk as a preg test as LH and Hcg are very similar?

Anyway, did one tonight and there's a faint line! I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I'm gonna do another in the morning.....could I be?!?! Hmm

You could be. People get them when pregnant. But some people also get an lh rise before AF. So you can only really confirm with a pregnancy test. Good luck!

If the line was faint doesn't that mean it's a negative opk? Doesn't the line need to be as dark as or darker than the control line for a positive surge?
I wouldn't think too much about the opk and get yourself some pregnancyy tests in ready for testing! I'm hoping you get your positive! Fingers crossed.

I always get a faint opk before AF is due. Fingers crossed a bfp is on the way though.

I have at least a faint line throughout my cycle, which is normal, If it’s a positive OPK that it can indicate pregnancy. Or just a surge before AF (also common).

With DC I had a positive (very dark text line, much darker than control) OPK after I’d missed AF.

I've never had a true positive opk, even when I got pregnant with my son who's now 2.5 it was still lighter than the test line.
