Hi everyone, just wanted a bit of advice or tips from people if they have any! Me and my partner are trying for our first baby, we are both 26. About to start 10th cycle of trying and getting a bit down about it. I had a chemical pregnancy in September which was hard to deal with and I am struggling to stay positive. Would appreciate any tips/advice that helped any of you get pregnant! I have been taking folic acid since January and recently started Pregnacare before conception. Thanks Smile

@handbaglover93 sorry about your chemical 😞 it sounds like you're doing everything right. I'm 28 and it took me 11 cycles and I was getting seriously down about it all.

The cycle I got pregnant was the cycle I thought I had messed up! We were DTD every other day with previous cycles, but this cycle we just DTD the 2 days before ovulation and day of ovulation. I wasn't really tracking but when I looked back, that's when it happened.

I think I resigned myself to the fact it wasn't going to happen and was going to book a docs appt if we hadn't been successful this cycle, but hey presto I'm now pregnant!

I think sometimes being too regimented and tracking too much can be our downfall. Wishing you all the luck, hope you get your BFP very soon!

@Mimi91 thank you for your response! And congratulations 😊 I am trying to be more relaxed and not so regimented with myself now, hoping that has a positive effect!
