My OH was only here two days of my fertility cycle this month. We DTD both days. Should I now not drink until my period does or doesn't come? Can we still C out with these 5 day? First time trying. Thank you for advice, please be kind.

To be honest I stopped drinking when ttc just mainly for health benefits.

Depends on if you are thinking of getting blotto or having the odd glass of wine?

Thanks for replying. I haven't drank but fancied a wine last night. Good practice I suppose!

Alcohol at this stage has no impact as you're not yet pregnant, but as previous poster states it's a personal choice for other health and fertility reasons until you are pregnant.

I have struggled to give up alcohol completely. I have had the occasional glass of wine when getting my period with a nice meal as a sort of treat/pick me up. I wouldn't stress about small amounts, we are 7 months in and that is a long time to not touch a drop.

Well it took me a year to get pregnant and it was stressful and difficult enough without putting my life on hold, so yes I continued to enjoy a glass or two of wine with nice dinners, after work drinks etc. Obviously wouldn't recommend binge drinking, but it can be a long road, and obviously as soon as you get positive test, stop immediately

The odd glass wont hurt and can help to relax you.

Even with breastfeeding they did studies which show one glass has minimal impact on what gets passed to baby.

But I wouldn't suggest drinking excessively or continuously
