Conceiving after abnormal cervix cell treatment?

Hello

Just wondering if anyone else has had treatment for cervical dysplasia (abnormal cells in the cervix) and gone on to either conceive normally or had problems because of it?

I had LLETZ treatment for stage 3 abnormalities two years ago, and wondering if that or treatment for that would cause any problems with conceiving? x

I had a LLETZ in 2002 and had a normal successful pregnancy (and natural labour) in 2015. Hope that helps!

I had it done, laser and loop and had a completely normal pregnancy and birth around 7 years afterwards.

Oh that's great news thanks. It's taking a while and can't help but think that might be effecting things, am hoping not :-)

In that case it may be worth getting it checked out - I had an HSG test and they did mention that sometimes scar tissue from the LLETZ can block the cervix and affect sperm getting in (though I didn't quite get how AF blood gets out if it is blocked!)... perhaps it is worth seeking professional help if you are concerned.

@NicLondon1 that's really interesting thank you. I deffo have scar tissue there, I'll get checked out if still get no luck, I hadn't thought that could be a problem but that actually makes sense. Although what can be done about that I don't know!
