Too early?

I ovulated around the 24th, give or take as that is purely through apps.
Last night I was at a&e for something unrelated and they decided to test for pregnancy. It was negative, would it be too early anyway? Or am I completely out for the month? Sad

To be fair I'm getting cramping so I think deep down I know I'm out for the month. It's probably ridiculous that I'm even trying to kid myself

That would have been 5dpo! Not even the most sensitive test in the world would have picked that up.
Cramping can be a PMS symptom but can also occur with implantation so you're not out yet. Good luck and lots of baby dust to you

@GetTheSprinkles ah okay!!! That really makes me a bit happier that at least there's still hope. Would even the doctors tests not pick this up yet? ! Thank you so much for responding

I think the earliest that even the best/most sensitive test can pick up is more like 8 or 9 DPO. I didn't get my BFP until 9DPO using a First Response Early Results test (the most sensitive test you can get).

The doctors tests are the same as the less sensitive ones we use at home. Pregnancy hormones don’t start being produced until after implantation has occurred anyway which is usually about a week after ovulation.

Ah so not fully out yet! Grin
