My app says I’m 2dpo but didn’t catch my exact peak just high fertility on clear blue and used cheapies to back up!

Having cramps and sore breasts but could still be ovulation?

I'm eating lots of chocolate. Just because I feel rubbish. I'm justifying it to myself because I did 2 hours of Pilates yesterday. And I'm going to do 2 hours of it on Friday too.

Although at nearly 40 I think my actual chances per cycle are somewhat below the 1:3 or 1:4. Maybe even as bad as 1:20. But, that's still a chance!

DP has been going on about how I should do a DNA test. I got the results back and I appear to be pretty much 100% Irish genetically. And from the northern half of the island, specifically. I laughed when I saw it. I'm not Irish, but it every single one of my great grandparents was (and everyone else before them too it seems). I did tell him it would be unenlightening and that I could draw him a circle on a map showing where all my ancestors came from, but he was super curious. The test has confirmed that I was right. 😂

So I told him we can make a baby that's a full 50% Irish genes. And his half will be almost all Yorkshire. 😆

@Ellsbells112 wow! 8 stone!!! Good on you that's amazing! (and almost my entire body weight! ha) How long have you been trying this time -sorry if you've already said this. And agreed, I know people who have or had been trying for years. I mean I give it to them I am going mad after 6 weeks...

@Sunflower2019 nope my OH is doing nothing that I am aware of. However we rarely drink, neither smoke and we eat (he not me) mostly healthy so I think we are doing okay. My OH doesn't like the idea of trying and just want's it to happen so I keep all this stuff to myself. OBVIOUSLY as a woman that wants a baby it's safe to say I am trying haha.

@ceejla this will be the third cycle of trying not even bloody long is it!! And I'm losing my mind 🤣🤣 its actually pretty pathetic but I cant help it its just in my nature to be impatient and want it now! Haha

@Ellsbells112 this will be our first. I guess I'm a bit worried as I've never been pregnant before so have an irrational feeling I might not be able! If it's any help to you I was much more stressed out the first few months ttc. Went a bit loopy and for my sanity needed to chill out, especially as this process could take a long time. Maybe you'll feel better with time too? Although I really hope you fall pregnant soon and can forget all these stressful feelings!

@Ellsbells112 I don't have any kids but I have been pregnant before a few years back (I'll leave that one there ha). That time I feel pregnant in my 2nd cycle but I don't think I was particularly bang on with my timing until the 2nd month. So at least I know it is possible but I'd driving me crazzzyyyyy with worry that something has happened since then etc etc etc.

Why are we so impatient?!

Good to hear everyone has a partner who’s fit and healthy? Has anyone else had the dp sperm checked? He had his checked before I done anything.

I don’t know if my body is still adjusting to coming off the pill nearly 6 months ago as this cycle I feel so crampy and off.. haven’t felt like this before, normally get a few cramps before af and that’s it!

@Skyla01 I can understand why you must feel like that but if everything is running how it shouldn’t it shouldn’t be an issue :)

@ceejla yes least you know it’s possible, I also fell pregnant a few years back but was a different partner - long story too!

Because of my issues DH got all the checks. Thankfully he was all normal, well above in all cases actually so at least that’s one less worry!!

Yes let’s try and be more positive, my partner keeps telling me it’s all about a positive mindset, haha.

My partner drinks a fair few coffees a day and also drinks quite a bit of alcohol on the weekend. Do you think he should be cutting back? He doesn’t smoke and eats healthy. I have put on weight since July so def need to try and maybe prioritise loosing a few pounds and hope that will help. I think I am 6 or 7 dpo but have zero symptoms now!

Mine requires coffee to function as a human. I think he'd be useless if I suggested he gave it up/had a single cup a day. It's probably a good idea he keeps his job. 😂

I was convinced I could feel af starting on my way home from work. Got all my positive thoughts ready. Got home... and it wasn't her! Feeling some cramps this afternoon though so think she'll be here tomorrow.

@Sunflower2019 my OH is pretty healthy. Will be sending him to the GP for sperm analysis as soon as we hit the 1 yr mark though just in case!

Anyone lost there sex drive or is it just me? Literally have times I’m Literally gagging for it and have had no interest the lash few days 😮

Wow, I haven’t been on MN for a few days! Went away for a long weekend and just been catching up at work. Still no symptoms and hoping that’s a good thing, AF due Tues/wed next week so should know this time next week my cycle is quite short so I may end up out of sync with you all

Just catching up on all your messages! glad to see all your partner's are healthy. Mine likes a good drink on the weekend but doesn't smoke. He's never had a sperm check though and I'm overweight so think that's a factor going against me. So I've changed my diet recently so fingers crossed 🤞 I'm 28 and I've had 3 pregnancies in the past giving me 2 amazing children so I guess that's a good sign.

@Sunflower2019 I have zero interest in sex atm I think it might have something to do with the amount we DTD before ovulation and the pressure that I put on myself and I now completely associate DTD for a purpose to get pregnant.. my poor partner.

Is anyone planning anything around BFP/ AF? I think mine is due next Thursday/Friday so I am going to book somewhere nice for dinner and maybe even book a massage for the sat. So at least have something to look forward to 😁

@Missdrifter Oh I didn't think to do anything like that! AF is due around the 13th so I'll have to think of something to do! I'm having a girls night in my cousin that weekend but she is 27 weeks pregnant so hopefully we can have a pregnant girl night and I'm not feeling sorry for myself x

Oh I didn’t think about doing something around that day, though it’s a good idea. Something else to look forward to rather than day counting!
I’m 6dpo today, and have just noticed some fresh(ish) blood when I was at the toilet.. it’s definitely vaginal.. could it be implantation or wishful thinking? I have a dr appt tomorrow for them to check my bloods to make sure I ovulated - is it too soon for a blood test to show if we’ve had any luck?

Hi ladies, so glad I've found this thread! I'm currently 7DPO with AF due 13 Nov. I've been using Clearblue Digital OPKs so pretty certain of my OV date. First month using pre-seed as I've heard good things about it. 2WW is driving me mad, and I'm symptom spotting - I have a feeling that this is our month (but then I've also felt like that for the last couple of cycles and it hasn't worked!)

@amysara that sounds very promising, have you had any cramping alongside? Hopefully the doctors will be able to tell you more. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

@Missdrifter I had some yesterday, and again today though I was blaming my bowels for today.. maybe I was wrong and it could be cycle related..
Trying so hard not to get my hopes up too much and risk the disappointment, but I want to stay positive! Thank you so much.

It is a good idea to plan something nice for the AF/BFP reveal date. Although AF is due on a Wednesday so it'll just be the usual crazy running around after kids thing here.

I’m trying so hard not to poas until next week (AF not due until 14/15th) but I don’t know if I’ll be able to stop myself 🤦🏽‍♀️
