Just looking for buddies to get me through the tww..

My app says I’m 2dpo but didn’t catch my exact peak just high fertility on clear blue and used cheapies to back up!

Having cramps and sore breasts but could still be ovulation?

Have been trying since around July 💗

@beau2019 here here exactly that! I now have a beautiful life for my now 8 year old son and that's waiting for my soon new bubba! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Sunflower2019 · 12/11/2019 09:33

Thanks girlies ❤️

I know it will happen when it’s all meant too, just hard when I wonder why now it’s taking so long, I know I can’t fill that void completely but my dp doesn’t have any children either and I worry I won’t be able to give him that, obviously it’s all anxiety and in my head so trying think positive :)

@Ellsbells112 very similar situation then, as you know it’s always in the back of your head, especially now when ttc! Xx

@SarahMS I’ve definitely got the grumps too 😂

@amysara24 I think the cheapies do take a while :) frer is prob always the best bet!!

Xx

Sorry AF came @Beau2019. I was taking a pile of stuff recommended in the 'it starts with the egg' book. I don't know if it actually helped, but it can't have made it worse.

@Ellsbells112 I have just been snuffly. Like on the verge of a cold but never getting there - especially at night. And the constipation. That's no fun. I feel pregnant now but obviously I am so knowing that has had an effect. Not in any particular way. I just generally feel pregnant.

Twins. 😆😆😆 It was an extremely dark line (one of those ones that seems to steal the dye from the control line). And it came up immediately. I could see it as the wetness spread across the panel in the FRER (along with the control line). Regardless whether you go with ovulation or LMP in dating it, I'm only 3+5 today. So it was an unexpectedly dark line.

There are actually loads of twins in my family. My dad is a twin. My cousin (in my dad's side) had twins recently. All identical though, and that's supposedly a fluke rather than genetic usually. My dad and his twin were actually baby #3 (and surprise 4) for my grandparents.

Don't feel awful about anything @Sunflower2019 and @Ellsbells112. You did the right thing for you and that is always the important thing. I'm sure you will get your BFP now with your lovely (if irritating) partners.

They're all a bit irritating really (mine is a bit of a faffer who seems to think putting some clothes in a bag for a single night away is like packing for an Antarctic expedition, for example). He is so excited about the pregnancy though.

WooMaWang · 12/11/2019 09:48

How long have you been trying @Sunflower2019?

SarahMS · 12/11/2019 09:49

Also if the girls that have got their BFP have any tips on what they did different this month or what they did in general while TTC could they please let us know. I've been watching a infinite amount of you tube videos and reading forums and it's making me crazy but I'd just like to know anything that worked for you guys x

ohreally2019 · 12/11/2019 10:00

Hi ladies, I was also in the same TWW as you all and due AF yesterday or today but started to spot and bleed on Sunday. We've been TCC baby 2 since July and I had suspicions this was the month- feeling nauseous last Friday and Saturday was one symptom. I actually tested Sat morning and wasn't sure but thought there was the faintest line but said I would just wait and see...
Anyway, my period has been very light, heavy enough for a pad but more like my usual last couple of days of a period than the start of it which tends to be much heavier. Did a test just now, so not FMU, as have just thought it all a bit weird and have got this result, which looks positive? Anyone experienced this, any thoughts on whether this could be a very early miscarriage? Do I just wait and see?
Sorry for the long post!!

@SarahMS I’ve heard relaxing and trying nothing works.. literally I believe it, you give up or keep your mind happy and it happens!

@WooMaWang 😂😂 that made laugh!!ive been trying since June so not all that bad? I guess just expected it would happen this year :/

It’s lovely hes excited, I think it’s more real for a man when he sees the baby for the first time xxx

@SarahMS I bought a copy of 'it starts with the egg' and decided to go nuts with the supplements it recommended. So, on top of a standard pregnancy multivitamin, I took Coenzyme Q10, extra folic avid and vitamin D, E and C. Plus some N-Acetyl Cysteine and Alpha Lipoic Acid.

DP took the CoQ10 too - he loves it and is going to keep taking it. He thinks it's helping him in the gym. Apparently he can do loads more pull ups now or something. 🙄

I used the purple CB OPK sticks (and the app that goes with it). I just used them with FMU as directed by the app. That was more to find out when I ovulated (and to reassure myself that I did). We didn't change anything in relation to DTD tbh. (Way TMI) we do that a lot anyway so there didn't seem to be any need to change that.

I think mostly it's just bloody luck though rather than anything I actually did.

SarahMS · 12/11/2019 10:08

@Sunflower2019 I've heard that too and tbh I've only tried last month actively. I'm gonna try and give the OPKs a try this month and if it's too much to keep up I'm just gonna try and forget about it. I'm just a very impatient person and I like to be in control but this is the one thing I can't control and it's stressing me out x

WooMaWang · 12/11/2019 10:12

@Sunflower2019 June isn't that long ago. And it can take a while for contraceptive hormones to clear completely from your system too. It might still happen for you in 2019 - it's not over yet.

@ohreally2019 That does look positive.

I had 'periods' (light ones but still regularly monthly bleeds) for the first 5 months of my first pregnancy. I felt absolutely dire and my GP kept testing me for really scary stuff rather than doing a pregnancy test because I was having regular periods. Eventually I could feel DS moving and they confirmed the pregnancy with the heartbeat. I had to go for a scan to find out how far along I was. Weirdly, the 'periods' stopped as soon as I knew. I was only 19 and it was unexpected to say the least.

SarahMS · 12/11/2019 10:12

@WooMaWang thank you for the response! I have been taking folic acid for a month now but my sister mentions the multi vitamins for us both as-well which I will need to defiantly get! I'm gonna try these cheapies that I got off amazon this month because they're already here but the CB does seem easier to use! Also I'm going to try and keep myself busy this month I've got a lot of things to do around the house for decorating so I'm going to get cracking on that to distract myself so I don't go mad! X

ohreally2019 · 12/11/2019 10:14

@Sunflower2019 Thanks for your thoughts! Had no bleeding with DS so i won't get my hopes up...but I think my sister did with DD1 so it is possible 🤷🏻‍♀️ I've ordered some First Response to arrive tonight, these were sainsburys and have no idea how sensitive they are.
Congrats to all those with BFP this month, and good luck to those still waiting...

ohreally2019 · 12/11/2019 10:19

@WooMaWang thank you! I've been googling stories like yours this morning, it's reassuring to know there is still hope. I'm thinking of re-testing every few days for a week or two and if it stays positive then call the doctor...I suspect they would fob me off at this stage if I went in.

WooMaWang · 12/11/2019 10:24

Could it have been implantation bleeding @ohreally2019? That can happen any time 6-12 dpo, and might match your description of what happened (plus the faint positive test).

ohreally2019 · 12/11/2019 10:30

It seems heavier from descriptions I have read of implantation bleeding @WooMaWang, def needing a pad and there is red blood not just pink/brown. Some cramping too, I did have cramping and was expecting AF to arrive when I found out I was pregnant with DS but don't think I had any bleeding.

I ordered a bulk box of CB Pink OPKs, conceive plus lube and another batch of TCC supplements yesterday but I really wouldn't mind if they went to waste!

WooMaWang · 12/11/2019 10:42

No. I don't think any of us do mind that stuff going to waste. I've got several CB opk sticks and loads of supplements I don't need. I think I'm good with just the pregnancy multivitamin at this point.

DP is continuing with the CoQ10. He thinks it's great. He recommended it to his brother purely for gym purposes. It's better than protein powder I guess. It certainly takes up less space in the kitchen.

ohreally2019 · 12/11/2019 11:09

I've just ordered Proceive supplements, it has 25mg of coq10, how much were you and DH taking @WooMaWang?

WooMaWang · 12/11/2019 11:23

200mg each. You can take 400mg (in two doses) apparently. But 200mg was what the book recommended.

This is what we have. You take it with food to improve absorption.

Sunflower2019 · 12/11/2019 11:53

Ellsbells112 · 12/11/2019 11:57

@sunflower2019 haha, I'm due Saturday so I'm 10dpo, percentage of negative pregnancy tests on 10dpo is quite high...I think I should wait till at least friday. Honestly I'd rather af come then see a bfn. When are you testing? Xx

Sunflower2019 · 12/11/2019 12:00
