Moving on from the October threads, join in those that will be testing at the end of November. (Which also happens to be my birthday!)

@WelshCake2019 mine will be on the 10th and 11th Nov

Mangaroo · 01/11/2019 15:14

Around 11th for me

Mystie · 01/11/2019 15:28

@WelshCake2019 flo says 10th, clue says 6th, going to cover all bases and start DTD from tomorrow! OH has got man flu though which is annoying 🙄 wondering if it affects the little swimmers 🏊‍♂️

ChampooPapi · 01/11/2019 15:43

@Mangaroo @WelshCake2019 thank you ladies! You guys are the best ❤️

CiaraJ01 · 01/11/2019 15:45

@WelshCake2019 around the 9th for me on the app, but I no longer trust it after it moved last month!! So starting with OPK tests Monday

ChampooPapi · 01/11/2019 15:50

@Mystie can you start today? Worth dtd every day for the next week i would say!

Mystie · 01/11/2019 16:05

@ChampooPapi don't this he has the energy today but I'm going to try! 🤣

Mystie · 01/11/2019 16:05

Think*

WelshCake2019 · 01/11/2019 19:48

@ChampooPapi I could be wrong but I think I've read somewhere dtd every 2/3 days would be better than every day so sperm has a chance to be become better quality inbetween being renewed each time? Worth researching maybe? But like I said could be wrong! x

ChampooPapi · 01/11/2019 20:44

@WelshCake2019 this is news to me, I definitely take your word for it as I'm a total novice at ttc (previously just had sex=baby 9 months later).

I have to stick to everyday I reckon as my man is away Monday through to Thursday so just got to do it when he's physically here and hope for the best

ChampooPapi · 01/11/2019 20:47

I used the ovulation calculation thing just now and it says my most fertile days are yesterday, today, tomorrow and Sunday but after the D&C 🤷‍♀️

Mystie · 01/11/2019 20:56

Anyone else's bedside table been taken over by OPKs, ERPTs, pre natal vitamins, temp charts, pre seed lube and fertility books 🤣

@ChampooPapi I did an opk tonight and got a result that looks positive and I'm only CD6 🤔 do you think this means I could be ovulating or about to already?

End of November, jump on board!
ChampooPapi · 01/11/2019 21:05

@Mystie I think it's highly possible, I would personally be keen to do it tonight if I were you but I am much more aware that I have no contact all week.

It looks like a green light to me on ovulation, you are supposed to be very fertile after miscarriage, this could definitely be your month Mystie, that man needs to step up this weekend Wink

Mystie · 01/11/2019 21:10

@ChampooPapi that's looking unlikely after he's just swigged a capful of night nurse lol he's onboard for tomorrow though which is good and we'll keep DTD regularly for next week or so!

Good luck with your BD this weekend 🤞🏼

... and come on England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏉

mellymoo86 · 01/11/2019 21:58

Guys I have a question. So normally they say to try for a year before seeing a GP. But why don't people go earlier than this and say that they have been trying a year? Surely the doctor won't know any different? 🧐

xoJellyBean · 01/11/2019 22:07

@mellymoo86 I have thought of this too!

mellymoo86 · 01/11/2019 22:12

@xoJellyBean got someone I know that's been trying just over a year before going to the doctor...I'd go after 6 months lol. Nobody has time to wait one year lol. Or am I just really impatient 🤷🏽‍♀️

Louu99 · 01/11/2019 22:29

Hello!
Can I join in here?

It is my 1st cycle of trying to conceive baby #1, and I'm remaining optimistic.

I've been using those ovulation test strip things and I ovulated/peaked yesterday. My partner and I have been having sex (I don't like dtd, it makes me feel older than my 32 years!) every other/everyday all week, so probably 4 of 5 times.

Now the long wait to test commences!

What's everyone else's experience with TTC? Anyone get lucky in the 1st cycle?

Xx

CiaraJ01 · 01/11/2019 23:12

@Louu99 we're in a similar boat! TTC baby #1, official first cycle - last month we just decided to so nothing really planned.
Ibe ordered my OPK strips that were delivered today... to a neighbour 🙄 But I'll start trying them on Monday!
Good luck, it can happen 1st try!

Louu99 · 01/11/2019 23:15

@CiaraJ01 I don't know if I'm being too optimistic! But I'm glad there's somewhere else here that's the same. I don't feel so alone now!

My other half has gone away with work for a week, so it all fell at the right time. It does mean I have no one here to fret about these things with though, so I'll use this as my outlet Grin

CiaraJ01 · 01/11/2019 23:21

@Louu99 Its crazy how much your mind plays on it! although we didnt try very hard last month I was 100% convinced I had every symptom going!
This has been a great site for me since, just to get some tips and have lots of people who've been there and done it - literally 😂

mellymoo86 · 01/11/2019 23:43

@Louu99 @CiaraJ01 good luck girls, hope it works first time for both of you 😊

stepmumma91 · 02/11/2019 06:07

@CiaraJ01 @Louu99 I'm in the same boat as you guys! Cycle one and starting my TWW today... eeek! Fingers crossed for you both!

CiaraJ01 · 02/11/2019 09:48

@stepmumma91
Ahh welcome!! Fingers crossed for a BFO - and a quick 2WW Grin

CiaraJ01 · 02/11/2019 09:48
