@Raizelrea eeeek so exciting. Less than 12 hours to go now. I am sort of jealous of you, but I'd also be very nervous too. You know I hate POAS 🤣🙈 I do usually get EWs and always find it a bit creepy 🙊 but it's a positive thing, I guess!!

We are TTC. My LMP was 11th sept. Was using the clear blue digital ovulation kit. Got a solid smiley on 24th. We DTD 24/25/26

Now getting faint cramps (possible implantation cramps) 🤞🏼

I won’t do a pregnancy test until 11th when period is due

Does anyone have any recommendations of which tests are best?

@Gigi318 jealous of your EWCM too 😂 I seem to get it some months and others not, so strange. Though I read you can get it but sometimes it stays higher up and doesn't actually come out if that makes sense?! Enjoy all the DTD and being in control 😊

@myttcjourney welcome! We have similar cycles, my AF is due 12/10 and I think I got my peak 26/09. How long have you been TTC?

This is our first month trying. Think it would take a miracle to happen first month, but we can hope 😂

@Makeafamily19 hehehe yes it does. It's crazy what the body does. I'm hoping I'll spot some soon, but not mad if I don't. CM already watery so we're at a good place. Thank you, I'm enjoying it at the moment and plan to just make it all count!

@myttcjourney welcome! Not too much longer for you to wait now. These lovely ladies suggest the First Response Early Result (FRER) so I'd go with those. Or cheaper ones as long as they're pink dye. It's all very exciting. Last month was my first month and I joined MN after my fertile window and feel like I have learnt so much and we didn't get to give it a good shot to be honest. So hope this month is it 🤞🏻

Yea I feel the same, I started testing a bit late I think and I read your chances are higher if you do it the 3 days before you get your static smiley..which we didn’t! Feel like next month could be more successful 😀

I haven’t heard about the pink dye thing? What is that about? xx

@myttcjourney haha don't worry it takes a while to pick everything up, especially the acronyms! Blue dye apparently can show more false positives - like evaporation lines from the dye drying and bleeding lines I think. People tend to trust pink dye more as they tend to show up better and be more accurate 🙂 I've not been here that long though. My 4th cycle but weren't massively trying for the first 2. It takes a while to monitor your cycle if you haven't paid attention to it before.

@myttcjourney Yes I think so too. It takes a while for the little swimmers to get up to the egg so it's best to DTD (do the deed) on the run up so you get more chance of having the sperm there. That's why I'm going for every other day and then everyday over the FW to make sure. I guess, if we just go for it, something should happen right? 🙊

@Makeafamily19 thank you for explaining the dye sitch perfectly 🤣👌🏻 I'm yet to even use my FRERs. This will be the month. How exciting!!

I had another very vivid dream and in it I was looking at BFP on FRER lol x
My Ovia app has changed my ovulation from Mon/Tues for today?! And that happened only this morning because I reported watery CM?! What am I meant to be doing with that now? My OH has been away since yesterday morning and is not coming back until Sunday morning now so if today is my ovulation then I’ll be out because we TTC last on Tuesday night x ehh :(

Obviously it was meant to say we DTD on Tuesday night lol x

Hmm, well I think you can get watery CM after O too? There's not a lot you can do (apart from jump on him as soon as he is home) so try not to worry. Remember, that what will be, will be. What CD are you?

@Gigi318 hi hun x You go for it girl and enjoy weekend of wild DTD :) Well I'm CD17 today and my af is due 15th, so it would be too late for ovulation. Also if I do ovulate that late, it is going to be very short luteal phase, so highly unlikely enough time for implantation, at least that's what I read. Ehh I am feeling quite negative today and cannot really be bothered at all to be fair. Just feel like having a tantrum and throwing my toys out the pram - no pun intended lol x

How do you stop feeling so negative about things?
Am now a little worried that my age combined with early ovulation means my chances of conceiving are slim 😢
Not aware of having pcos but it is a possibility I guess as I am quite hairy

@claireb707 that's fantastic! Enjoy yourself while you're there chick. While I am by no means an expert in fertility and conception, I do like to think of myself as the Queen of Positivity (too much?). Try to remember that your thoughts and exactly that - just thoughts. And be kind to yourself. Also, that you are what you think. So if you're worrying and drowning in negativity, it's going to consume you and could essentially harm your health. But the more you can be positive and happy, the lighter you will feel. And when you're bright and positive, it's much easier for the things you want to take place. See negativity as like an energy block. There's a reason that SO many couples just 'happen' to conceive immediately when they stop trying. They've let go of pressure and stress and worries, and then it happens.
And, of course, you can speak to a fertility professional or find out about PCOS to see if you do perhaps have it. Also looking to boost your health might help too? Hope some of this helps but do tell me to b*gger off if you like 🙊😘

@claireb707 yes I think it could be late for O, but if you are O right now then your period could be pushed back too. It may not mean your LP is shorter. There's always so much for us to be thinking about 🙈
Oh no!!! Although I do feel as if I'm a little deflated today. I'm blaming the weather and really trying to perk myself up. I just want to eat everything though 🤣🙈 not cool. At least it's Friday!!!

@claireb707 wow, all bold - sorry, that was an accident hehe. It's okay. It's SO easy to get bogged down in negative thoughts. And it's nice to be able to pull yourself out. Life is fun, after all so don't be afraid to treat it as such. Don't take things too seriously, just relax and have fun. Especially while you're on hol!
And if all else fails, lots of DTD and selfcare goes a long way 🙊👌🏻😘

@claireb707 that may not be true. A friend just conceived naturally at 43 after 2 years of failed IVF. They were taking a break from TTC. I'd say definitely actively look into options if you are concerned or look to work on your health, but try to stay positive and tell yourself this WILL happen. Change the narrative if you can, and it will happen for you 💙💖

@claireb707 I know someone who conceived at 48, so you definitely have time
Stress is the worst thing. I really believe in a positive mindset, even thought it’s hard when you don’t get the positive result, just be positive that your day will come

I feel like I have period cramps..a week early. On and off since yesterday. Hoping it’s implantation bleeding although not getting too excited yet 🤣
