@claireb707 Welcome back, sorry the weather that's greeting you is so crap! I've had all these grand plans of getting loads of cleaning and e-larning done today but I just want to crawl under a blanket with this rain and grey skies! Has your spotting subsided?

AF is due 11/12th of this month! Not too much longer to wait now! The two weeks waiting is killer

I am convinced I am not as the FRER was negative even though it was a week before I am due 🙈

No twinges today but still think O will be Monday. Maybe?! Not too sure. Flo says O will be Tuesday so I will count Wednesday as 1DPO just to be sure!

@Raizelrea oh no! Chick I hope not. Argh! But if it's AF, jjst be kind to yourself and have a chilled week. Oh amazing, I love a good TEDX talk - watch them all on YouTube (we seem very similar hehe) what was it on? I hope you have a nice chilled day babe!!

@myttcjourney oh chick, don't you worry. I think we all do it to be honest! Just try to distract yourself if you can? I was like this last month and refuse to do it this time. I shall be distracting myself in the TWW, that's for sure. I think I will have to start a new TV series or a range of great books 🙊👌🏻

@Gigi318 I am currently cycle 1 and I am on day 31! I am unsure of my period lengths due to just coming off the pill last month to conceive but I am sure they are 27 days which makes me late. I had a withdrawal bleed but nothing since! Tests say negative so just holding out as not too sure what is going on haha! X

@Gigi318 I'm apparently 7 days late, cd31, 21dpo

@ACMJ that's a good idea. Did you count the first day of the withdrawal breed as CD1? Do you know when O was? Hopefully you've caught. But good to just hold and out see what's going on with the cycle.

@claireb707 ohhh goodness, hopefully you get an answer soon. That was early O - did you track it?

@Gigi318 I know, got positive opk on day 10, that's why I'm a bit confused now

@Gigi318 yeah first day on withdrawal bleed was cd 1 and was the 6/9, feels like forever ago now! My app says that Ovulation was around day cd 14 so 19/9 and I had lots of twinges around that week but couldn’t determine wether it was ovulation or just pull withdrawal symptoms! CM is being really strange and has only just started to increase the last day or two so I don’t know wether I am ovulating really late or something else

@Gigi318 Thank you! My week will actually be the opposite of chilled but the distraction may be good haha!

The TEDx talk had a really wide scope actually, it was a full day event so loads of different speakers. The two that resonated the most with me were about what we can learn from old people to be happier sooner (apparently the typical happiness curve in live is U shaped so you're at your happiest as a child and then when you're old and stop giving a damn about what people think!), and one about trying to avoid a constant urge to be in the loop about everything at work which drives us to burnout. But the majority of the talks were interesting!

How is your day going?

@claireb707 I came across some this study earlier today that made me think of you, apparently increasing soy protein in your diet can help with delaying ovulation to give your eggs more time to mature. May be worth a shot, unless you really hate soy?

Thanks @Raizelrea, I've got an underactive thyroid so am meant to avoid soy if I can. I do love edamame beans though 😂😂

Looks like the spotting has turned into period though so think I'm out this month 😢 though will see if it stops

I am not sure if I am imagining it but I woke up feeling really sick. And an hour ago had the same wave of nausea, I don’t know if it’s a sign or I’m being ridiculous 🤣

Oh my god. I think I'm losing the plot. I took a FRER just now because I was bored and I see a super faint line. Even OH sees it but he says he thinks it needs to be a "linier line" to mean something.

I'm not sure if this is period or not. I've never had brown (sorry tmi) blood on day 1 before. It's normally rednon day 1 and brown on day 4??

@claireb707 that's good. You could still be PG. How is the spotting?? Hope it stays away!! Oh no, just saw you think it's AF, really hope it's not!

@ACMJ Could be ovulation. A friend of mine had a 90 day cycle, and it has gradually got to a 40-50 day cycle now after a few months. So you never know. Keep an eye on that CM and keep DTD just to be sure 🤞🏻

@Raizelrea that sounds amazing and I totally agree about the happiness in old age thing. I've always thought my golden years will be my favourite. Financially secure, less worries, more free time. What's not to love? Although I doubt I'll ever have free time, I always find a way to be busy! Eeek, busy week? But that's a good distraction. I am well, just in the bath 🤣and quite tired from a busy day!

@myttcjourney I hope so chick, fingers crossed for you. I was so nauseous last month, so will see how I am this month. I do still think that maybe the egg fertilised but didn't manage to implant properly. But who knows!!

@claireb707 maybe it's IB? Is it heavy?? Maybe you ovulated later than you thought??

Not heavy at all wish I had carried in doing opk tests now after I got my peak just to see what my cycle was doing

@claireb707 I ran out of tests (wish I hadn't wasted this one on random afternoon wee now) so will dash to the shop tomorrow morning... Sorry your spotting seems to be increasing, fingers crossed it stops.

@Gigi318 I agree, I met loads of amazing older people earlier this year when I volunteered as an extra in a play, they all did all sorta of stuff, volunteering, being extras, learning to dance, doing flash mobs... They were amazing!

I'm all over the place to be honest, just had a call that OH's granddad is in the hospital with health complications of his cancer, my grandma is also in the hospital unconscious with various infections (but she and my parents are in another country so I can't go see them, it's all a bit much to process. Keep looking at the line, I really hope it is something for all of our families sake. Kind if wish I didn't have the wine and brie last night though, I was so convinced I was getting AF... The last few days have been nuts!

@Raizelrea do you have amazon prime? You could probably get some tomorrow if you do and they'll be cheaper

@Raizelrea oh that's fantastic. I love the elderly. How fantastic of you to volunteer. So lovely!! Oh no, sorry to hear about your relatives. I hope they're not too far away and you can visit if need be 😞 yes that would be such a light for everyone! Oh don't worry, even if so, remember the baby survives off of the yolk sac for like 7 weeks or something so not really taking anything from you. Funnily enough, I said to OH that I wanted to have cheese and wine next weekend so I've got it out of the way before PG as I will miss brie!! (And red wine, of course)

@raizelrea a line is definitely a line. Have seen loads of faint line pics where they have been pregnant! How exciting

@Raizelrea yes. Do you have any AF symptoms? Hopefully it gets linier. Eek!!!
