Before I go and waste money on a pregnancy test

...is it possible to be pregnant and have a 'period'? I had a very strange period last week, not normal for me at all and much lighter but definitely more than spotting. It was also a slightly different consistency, a bit thicker and stringier with some clots (sorry for the TMI!).

Just thought it was one of those things but I ran down some stairs this morning and realised that my boobs are really sore too.

We're not trying so this would be a bit of a shock as we're not aware of any accidents.

I know the answer is to just buy a test but they're expensive and my logical mind is telling me I can't be so it's a waste of money!

Buy a £1 test you'll never know unless you take one and it will just play on your mind. I've spotted or got what seemed like the start of a period then been pregnant so you never know.

Sainsbury’s do cheap tests for about £2. If you are preggers, yo would be far enough along that you wouldn’t need an early response one, so a cheap one would do the trick.
Fingers crossed you get whatever result you are hoping for

Hi,

I watched a video online that said with implantation there is never clots! Hope I could be of some help. I had what i thought was implantation but it couldn’t of been as period came a few days later, although I did have a faint BFP so thinking it was a chemical xx

Couldn't have been more negative! Now wondering what the hell is going on instead!
