Thought the old one was getting a bit full so I'd start a new one. I'll attempt tagging as many as I can

@MrsH497 those sound like tough hours 😴 bless you!

I had a look at my Clue app this morning and about 3 cycles ago I had an abnormally long period after I had taken some northisterone tablets. So I clicked "exclude" this morning as thought I'd see what a difference it made to the app ... and it reckons I O a few days ago compared to previously predicting tomorrow!

Oops!

Have also been doing OPKS and not had a positive yet this month so was thinking it would later today or tomorrow but maybe I've missed it all together.

We DTD 2 days ago and 2 days before that so hoping I may have caught it if this is the case.

However I know from reading all our posts that sometimes we don't a positive OPK anyway and sometimes the apps are wrong!

MrsH497 · 05/09/2019 10:57

@Absa the only advantage is at 11am I've only got 3 hours of work left!

Apps are good at general monitoring but OPKs definitely better. I had my high readings 5 days after predicted ovulation on apps so reckon AF will be 5 days late or so

Motherofkittens28 · 05/09/2019 18:01

Hi all, AF arrived today so I am out for this cycle. Fingers crossed for the next one!

Whatnext11 · 05/09/2019 19:35

@MrsH497 wow that's early!

Whatnext11 · 06/09/2019 06:23

I hope you don't all mind me asking yet another question! This fertility stuff is so complex, it's a wonder we manage to get anything done when our bodies are so busy internally!
I had a peak ov reading on a clearblue test 48 hours ago, and I'm just wondering if that now means ovulation is over, or if I should keep doing the deed today /tomorrow? I'm temping too, but that isn't giving me a accurate enough picture, as I missed a few days. TIA

Absa · 06/09/2019 07:36

Hi @Whatnext11 . I think if you had a reading 48 hours ago it's worth DTD today / tomorrow. The SMEG suggests on the day of positive OPK you DTD, and the next day and the day after. Then miss a day and DTD again. I think this is just to cover you because OPKs show O but that can happen anytime 12-72 hours after positive.

That's my understanding, I could be wrong. But I think at least once more is worth it just to cover all eventualities!

Lozzlepop · 06/09/2019 12:59

Hi ladies 👋🏻 how are we all doing? Hope I haven’t missed anything? We are just back from a couple of blissful days in the Lake District and home feeling refreshed! Called EPU at the start of the week, they are going to refer us to the recurrent miscarriage clinic so fingers crossed that we get our referral appointment this side of the year 🤞🏻

MrsH497 · 06/09/2019 16:33

Hey @Lozzlepop so good to hear from you and sounding positive! Lake District sounds amazing! Xx

@flossy12 - they are very definite positives! Congratulations!

flossy12 · 07/09/2019 09:37

@ELW85 thank you 💞

JGreen134 · 07/09/2019 10:08

Hi everyone, hope you don’t mind me joining in. I’m 29 Teacher, married for two years to my OH. By TTC journey so far: Normally very regular cycles. I went off mini-pill (was on it for a month and a half so we could have a drink on holiday) on 15th August. Had my withdrawal bleed 2 days post 15th and DTD most days (1-2 day gaps at most). I’ve been feeling very odd over the last week an a half (cramping for two days when AF was due) and was sure I ovulated on 24th (mucus check) too. AF is 7 days late - just did a Clear blue early detection and said negative this morning. Hope my body sorts itself I am confused, and feeling disappointed ☹️. Only cycle 1 so I shouldn’t complain but it would just be such a relief to have my AF and know that my body is back to normal so I cant start tracking properly. Anyone else in the same boat? Wishing you all the best for this cycle! 😊

MrsH497 · 07/09/2019 10:14

Congratulations @flossy12 x

@flossy12 congratulations lovely!!! Thats amazing news :D

I have been a bit quiet recently as been very busy but hoping to be abit more regular on here going forward :) cycle day 12 so ovulating in a few days i think!

Welcome to the newbies:) welcome @jgreen134 we've also been marries just ovee 2 years but we arw on cycle 4 so i have learnt some patience over the past few months haha!

@lozzlepop glad you are being referred lovely!

flossy12 · 07/09/2019 11:53

@MrsH497 @Anny27 thank you my lovelies ☺️💞 everyone has helped me so much through this!! So greatful for you all 💞

MrsH497 · 07/09/2019 13:15

@flossy12 did you have any symptoms?

So if (big if I ran out of tests so don't know if I did) I ovulate late will that delay AF?

OP posts:
Kiza · 07/09/2019 13:35

@Whatnext11 how did the testing go on Thursday? Did she tell you when you get your results?

@flossy12 wow huge congrats to you both! Fab news!

@MrsH497 so many things I've read states that you LP should never change which if that's true would mean that yes your AF would be late. However my LP changes so I can never pinpoint exactly when AF is.
However I've been having Accupuncture the last 3 months and my cycles have been much more regular 🤷🏼‍♀️

MrsH497 · 07/09/2019 13:53

@Kiza I gave up with acupuncture! Got disheartened with it. Well we will see what happens I was technically due today but nothing and bfn this morning but it could be early as well if af is delayed

OP posts:
flossy12 · 07/09/2019 14:20

@MrsH497 no not really that I noticed ☺️ had cramping for 3 days around 5dpo and been tired

MrsH497 · 07/09/2019 14:24

So pleased for you @flossy12!! Don't think I have any symptoms - tired but work been busy!

X

OP posts:
Anny27 · 07/09/2019 15:17

@MrsH497 yep if i ovulate slightly late or slightly early then it changes when AF arrives (i am basically 14 days AF afyer ovulation)

Larrydavid · 07/09/2019 15:30

@flossy12 yay! This is brilliant news! Congratulations 🎉 you must be so pleased!!

@MrsH497 my af date changes by a few days when my ov changes. So maybe yours will be late.

@JGreen134 welcome!

@Lozzlepop - your trip sounds great. And fingers crossed for a quick referral!

I'm still waiting for my period. One app said it was due yesterday and another says Monday so I'll wait til then. I did an IC test a couple of days ago and it was negative so I don't think this is my month. I also have zero symptoms and feel like AF is coming. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Kiza · 07/09/2019 17:50

@MrsH497 yeah I can understand getting disheartened with Accupuncture, especially as it's pricey. I'm going to give it 3 more rounds and then will have to stop as can't afford the upkeep.
Hope AF stays away for you 🤞🏼
I'm currently starting TWW and going to try super hard to keep busy and occupied- I'll try at least 😁

Absa · 07/09/2019 19:41

Congrats @flossy12 !
I'm currently CD19, so just starting the 2WW, although not sure when I O'd this month so not entirely sure when AF due.
Have quite a busy couple of weeks so 🤞 I get a surprise at the end!

flossy12 · 08/09/2019 09:34

@MrsH497 that's the same for me too!! Thought I was knackered because of my thyroid levels 😅 not looking forward to all the blood tests 😆
