Welcome @absa :) i have just gone into cycle 4 (cycle day 3 today). How do you track ovulation?

Thanks @Anny27! I'm just scared and disappointed since my line disappeared. But also confused. And a small bit fascinated.

@ValidUser - that is weird! Could be implantation bleeding though, depending on colour/flow?

@ELW85 it's brownish and very light. But when I read around it seems that the existence of implantation bleeding is controversial.

Can anyone here without general luteal phase spotting confirm its existence? 🔍

@ValidUser - I’m dubious about it, but for what it’s worth, I’ve never had LP spotting and I had an implantation bleed that was light, brown spotting.
I did a load of reading too (as you do!) and it seems to be more of a hormonal bleed when you implant and it’s usually around the time of AF, I guess because your hormone levels aren’t high enough yet?

Ava is usually fairly good and says it's not a thing.

Hi, I'd like to join the thread. It's been a long journey already for various reasons but just starting now with tracking etc. First ovulation test done tonight while OH is out so I can get the hang of it!

Welcome @Whatnext11! What cycle are you on?

@ValidUser I have pre-AF spotting BUT I did have implantation spotting - it started a few days before my pre-AF spotting would've and lasted four days, it was brown and super light (only when I wiped) but came with severe cramping but I know not everyone gets cramping x

Thanks @cupcakesandglitter. Mines between brown and pinky red, but not the same consistency or colour as AF. We shall see!

@validuser, thank you for the welcome! I am in CD13 which by pure coincidence is when clearblue says I should test, I got a circle rather than smiley face, but happy that I figured out how to do the test etc. I do have some cheapy ones too but tried one and could see no lines at all, never mind seeing two! I'm sure I'll get the hang of it!

@ValidUser FWIW, I tested the day after spotting ended (started on Tuesday, I tested on sat) and had a very clear line - id maybe try hold off on testing because if it's implantation you'll have a clear answer in a few days

@Whatnext11 OPKs can be a bit tricky. I find the cheap ones easier, but you'll find whatever works for you.

@cupcakesandglitter I will hold off. It could be AF, but that would mean a 9 day luteal phase which never happens to me. Pretty sure of when I ovulated because of scans.

@ValidUser sorry to hear your cycle is being super weird and annoying. Like you and @MrsH497 I'd always been regular with the occasional late, however the last 2-3 months have been super weird with a weeks worth of spotting before AF (which got my hopes up that it could be implantation) and then one month AF arrived 6 days early?!
I wonder if the stress of tracking subconsciously plays with our bodies?

Have spoken with EPU about the referral to the RMC so we’re getting the ball rolling with that as it’s a 3 month wait which is slightly disheartening but I’m crossing my fingers that we get answers from it! 🤞🏻

@ValidUser the waiting is the worst, thanks for your support ❤️ Out of interest from a medical professional do you know the stats on recurrent miscarriage and how common they actually are? Sorry to hear you think it’s not been your cycle but it is still early and could be implantation bleeding if it’s brown and not much. I have everything crossed for you 🤞🏻

@Lozzlepop if one in 5 pregnancies (conservatively) ends in a miscarriage, then about 1/125 women will have 3 in a row. From what I do know, most of these women seem to go on to have normal pregnancies (with or without medical help).

I'm no expert in this field, but there does seem to be loads of hope. X

@lozzlepop, just reading through the thread and I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. No expert, but there is hope, my friend had 5 miscarriages but has 2 healthy children. So hard though.
