Hi - first time posting 🙈 and need loads of help

So me and my partner have agree to start to TTC. I came of the POP pill on the 21st of July and on the 23 I had blood when I wiped (I do apologise) and the on the 31 till the 2 I had spotting.

From looking at my ovulation it says it would have happened around the 21 till the 23 (but I do understand that I might not have released an egg as I have just come off the pill)

From previous tracking of my period I expected my AF on the 4th of August and it still hasn't arrived 😫 (but I do expect to have slightly irregular periods, but never not to have one within 28 to 30 days ) I have taken 3 tests which have all come back negative

I just wanted to know other people experience coming off this pill and is it normal for me not to have a period and how do i go on from here??

Sorry for the long post, I appreciate all advice thank you 😊

The pop often works by stopping ovulation, and this you don't have a full cycle on the pop. So I'm not sure where you're getting these ovulation dates from?

Time. Give it time. Test once a week until you get a positive or your period arrives, and then go from there. It's not unusual at all for it to take up to a year for cycles to normalise after hormonal contraception (but the pop often takes a lot less time to normalise afterwards).

Thank you for getting back to me it's all so new and google is just overwhelming 🤪

I got the ovulation dates from a app just to see when I would have

Thanks for the advice, we will just keep DTD and waiting (hardest part) xx

Yeah the apps are literally just guessing until you have a few cycles' data... the better your data, the better the app guesses. So using things like ovulation prediction kits or tracking your basal body temperature will generally give you a reasonable idea of what your body is doing (and not just an 'average' rough idea guess.

Or you could just see what happens over the next few months!!
