Peeing after DTD when TTC

Hey, slightly odd one but me and my partner are just starting the journey of TTC. After you've DTD what's the best thing to do? I normally rush off and pee but should I avoid this? Xx

You don't have to rush, but you should pee shortly after to avoid infections.

Thanks @KatBeCool that's why I always pee to avoid any infections but not sure what to do now TTC xx

You pee out of a different hole than your vagina. It doesn't matter for ttc if you pee or not.

KatBeCool · 11/08/2019 16:31

@cranstonmanor it's close enough where infections are possible. Ever wondered why your body actually wants to pee after sex?

FaithInfinity · 11/08/2019 16:38

Yes I always peed soon after or I got urine infections (the peeing won’t affect the likelihood of conceiving, the good swimmers are launched far up and the duffers near the bottom were never going to make it anyway) but peeing afterward reduces the risk of infection around your urethra.

Thanks @FaithInfinity Smile xxx

@KatBeCool
What I meant is that you can pee because you pee from a different hole, so you don't pee away all the sperm.

Definitely pee. I got a UTI recently and I'm convinced it's cos I wasn't peeing straight after sex as I normally do. My nurse told me that even though we are TTC to definitely still do it. As someone else said the strong swimmers hit where they need to go fast and stay there.
