Pregnancy test

Hey! Just wondering if anyone could help me at all. I'm now 14dpo and 10 days late. I took a pregnancy test at 7 dpo and got a negative result. Still haven't come on and as I'm on holiday I'm not able to get another test until I'm home. There has been no signs of my period at all. Just cramps but not strong ones.

Is it possible to be pregnant if I got a negative result before?

Also I've been taking folic acid just in case I am pregnant. Is this a good idea or not?

There is no way you are 10 days late and only 14dpo ShockConfused

Yeah unless you have extremely short cycles it sounds like your dates are off. It's good to take folic acid even months before you're pregnant, so keep doing that. Why can't you get a pregnancy test on holiday?

Do you possibly mean you are 24dpo and its a typo? If i was 14dpo i would be due af around now and not late.

Did you ovulate late this month, which is why you're 14DPO and 10 days late (just trying to understand your numbers as a 4 day luteal phase isn't normal!)

However if you are indeed 14DPO and took a test at 7DPO only, you should definitely take one again. Implantation often doesn't occur until 9/10dpo so a test at 7DPO isn't conclusive by any means.

Oh sorry I meant 24 dpo!

That makes more sense! Are you sure you can't buy a pregnancy test where you are?
