Hi ladies, confused as hell. Just wondering if anyone can help. First month out of three months testing I got a positive ovulation test, on the 25th of this month around half 10 in the morning. This lined up with my ovia app prediction etc so presumed I was all good and correct with days. I had cramps in my left side also. Then yesterday I woke up in the most horrendous mood that I couldn't snap out of and I knew I was doing it too, my nipples were incredibly tender and saw to touch, and the cramps started again on the left side and have continued through to today, still happening now. So does this mean it's potentially ovulation day now? I'm confused by why I'd get the cramps now and tenderness etc now.
Any ideas of what I've said if it makes sense, and what's going on? Smile

Those sound more like progesterone symptoms so it could be that you ovulate a few days ago and now your progesterone is rising. Do you temp? OPKs can only really tell you if your body's gearing to ovulate but not if it actually managed it.

@Ohana6419 this is going to sound dumb, but what does that mean? Is that just a normal process through your cycle? It's not something I've experienced before. Thanks Smile

@Ohana6419 and I've not done temperature before, I may give it a go next month as well as the tests. X

@Taryn90 If you mean what I said about ovulating, you don't always ovulate the same day every month so OPKs aren't always accurate. They often are to be fair, but every so often (happened to me a couple of cycles ago) you get your LH surge but ovulate a little bit later. Temping is a bit more work but at least helps reassure you when you ovulated so you're less worried about it afterwards :)

@Ohana6419 oh no I meant the progesterone increase I'm guessing that's normal?
I understand the ovulating different days etc 😊 bloody hard work isn't it all of this lol. But thanks so much for your help 😘

@Taryn90 Ahh I wasn't sure if it was that or the profiterole. Yeah after ovulation your progesterone increases which sends a message to your body to prepare for pregnancy (whether or not it actually happens) which is why before your period you get symptoms that are sometimes like early pregnancy (sore boobs, cramps, irritability etc). Those can start anytime after ovulation :)

OMG progesterone not profiterole 😂😂
