Well think I was exhausted I was falling asleep by 8/9 last night (hubby was late shifts) went to bed stayed awake until he got home at 11 then slept until 11:30am!! 😳don't remember the last time I slept that long!

Hello - I hope you don't mind me joining you. I've never used a chat thing like this before but came across it when googling questions about TTC.

TTC for a while now but struggling to time things right. I usually have a 28 day cycle (give or take a couple of days). I thought I could tell when i was ovulating, but now I'm not so sure lol.

This month I used clearblue ovulation kit starting on CD11 & got 'low' til CD19 and then got 'high' until CD23 when i got 'peak'. I thought i felt ovulation on CD22 but my OPK that morning had shown 'high' and not 'peak' til the following day. I don't know how accurate they are, but if I trust the OPK, ovulation didn't happen til CD 23/24/25 (I think?) which is really late considering I usually have a 28 day cycle. Now on CD25 and trying to work out when AF due now.

@Anny27 @LokiCat - TTC has definitely thrown lots of random anxiety dreams my way. I’d like to say it’s stopped now, but I can’t! It’s definitely slowed though :)

@ljayc - welcome! Everyone here is very supportive and knowledgeable so more than happy to help.
In regards to when you Ov, a lot of women find it later than they think, which is why OPKs are helpful. Your Ov day can move per cycle, but your Luteal Phase (from Ov to AF) doesn’t, so it’s more than possible that you Ov on CD24 and AF will be later this month.
Have you been stressed, travelled or changed something in your lifestyle this cycle that could have delayed Ov?

My goodness, as awful as it sounds, when I was younger I used to be so worried about accidentally getting pregnant & now I honestly have no idea how it happens to people 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

What day are you going to test? How many more days until AF is due for you?

I took one earlier today (again!!) and I got a really faint positive - however it was an IC & when I looked up the reviews there were sooo many people saying they have false positives 😩 I'm going to wait until Monday now & take a FRER.

Ladies talk me down do frer give evaps? I don't know why I did it but I'm convinced there is a faint pink line was that period my implantation

@MrsH497 does the line have any colour to it? Apparently any colour is a positive however faint it may be. Do you have a picture?

@PrincessConsuela12 I think it does I'm doubting myself and I can't get it to show in a picture.

@MrsH497 Sorry, just saw you said there is a pink line... sounds quite positive 🤞🏽 I think most if not all tests can have evap lines but not sure how common they are with FRER...

@MrsH497 if you've not long had implantation bleeding there may not be enough HCG built up so try agin tomorrow with FMU. Really hope it's positive for you!

@PrincessConsuela12 it lasted Sunday to Tuesday/Wednesday. I'm sure it's just a trick of the light and I don't know what possessed me to do it!

@cupcakesandglitter really I'm not imagining it? I'm shaking I took it thought I was stupid so had a quick shower and saw it. Now keep holding under different lights to see if I'm seeing things xx

@MrsH497 I definitely see it! I can't see any colour though but I know that could be because they don't pick up too well on camera - definitely test again!! X

So I've been insanelyyyyy cranky. My boobs are so sore and I've got dull period pain aches. Af is due today and I had an IC left and just go the below. Am I imagining it but I feel like I can see something there. I've never had a sniff of a line before so very confused.

@ELW85 I just can't quite believe it. Ive just woken DH up and told him not to get too excited but we need a trip to the shop.😂

We only DTD once this month. If this is my BFP it just goes to show that old wives tale of just once to be true!

@PrincessConsuela12 Oh I'm so excited for you - great idea to wait until Monday as an FRER should definitely pick something up for you then!

Clue is saying AF is due Friday so I'll wait until at least then, but I don't know how accurate it is as I've had to exclude my last 2 cycles because of the BFP and then MC, and it only has this positive OPK to work with as I obviously wasn't monitoring ov before we started trying. I wasn't feeling very positive about this month at all as we haven't managed to DTD half as much as is normal for us, but we still managed 3 times in my FW and yesterday I well and truly convinced myself every little thing (not even symptoms, just really silly superstitious stuff) was a sign that I've got a BFP coming 😂! I tried to talk myself down and then gave up - I'm going to try the 'you get more of what you think of' approach for the rest of the 2WW.

@MrsH497 I know you've had a rough wait already this cycle but I'd try and give it a couple of days and test with FMU on Monday if you can, by then you should have a really clear line on an FRER.
