So I have been on the implant for 3 years and have come off ... does it wear off straight away?

Yes, but that doesn't mean your cycles will be regular or that you will ovulate straight away. Then again, they could.

Think of it like giving up drugs - your body has to adjust to not having them and do things for itself again. This means you may (or may not) get withdrawal symptoms that mimic pregnancy symptoms. Then again, any symptoms you get could be pregnancy related...

@wannabemummy123 some women don't even have a period and become pregnant after the implant! I had it for 4 years had it removed end NOV had 1 cycle was pregnant 9th Jan!

After DD had it in 2 years got it removed mid DEC had 2 cycles was pregnant 9th Feb currently 26 weeks x

I was getting light periods randomly throughout the three years I had the implant in. And I was actually on my period whilst it was removed. I have been s.active since it's been removed 8 days ago... and have been feeling sick the last couple of mornings. And my breasts have been hurting aswell. Can I get symptoms this early if I am pregnant? Or would those symptoms not occur yet seeing as I can only be a maximum 1 week pregnant if I even am... I did a test but it's negative at the moment as I assume I would be too early on to have the test detect it if I was pregnant ...
