Does anybody have any recommendations for prenatal supplements that are a) a reasonable size and b) don’t make you feel queasy for ages?

About to start TTC and have been taking Boots Pregnancy for the last couple of months. Am just about used to them, but they’re massive and make me feel sick. Just wondering if people have had better experiences? Thanks!

Not exactly what you asked, but when I spoke with a nurse when getting my implant removed for TTC she just recommended folic acid and Vit D.

I am pregnant now but haven't changed what I'm taking. It appears in line with NHS guidelines, so it's good enough for me!

Thanks. Do you take them separately, or in a supplement that contains both?

I use the seven seas pre conception tablets and they’re pretty small. Is it the size of the tablet that is making you feel sick?

Yvonne1988 · 08/07/2019 17:02

I take the seven seas ones and they are tiny.

@MrsS147 I think it is the size of them that makes me feel sick. They’re difficult to swallow, and so I feel like I can taste them stuck in my throat and feel queasy until I’ve eaten.

Will look into the seven seas ones. Thanks everyone

The seven season ones are 2.99 in savers if you have one but a bit more expensive in other shops

Thanks @Yvonne 1988. Never heard of Savers. I see they’re £5ish at Boots, and on the 3for2 deal 😊 will go and get some, and swap ASAP
