FairyDustSprinkles · 05/07/2019 10:33

Welcome @flossy12 ! have u had any symptoms so far ?

OP posts:
FairyDustSprinkles · 05/07/2019 10:39

Ladies can I ask a question pls not sure if I'm on the correct DPO when do u guys count it from the first day of a positive OPK? But I've heard u can ovulate a few days after the positive so when do U count it as 1 day past ovulation ? @MrsS147 @UnapologeticallyUnsociable @flossy12

OP posts:
flossy12 · 05/07/2019 10:53

I never got a positive OPK cause I was awaybon holiday and didn't take my tests but DTD as much as we could before I went and when I got back 😅

I count it from when both my apps say? I've been waaaayyyy tired but that's about it! Had a couple twinges on my right side a couple times since OV but only lasted a few mins each so not holiday big amounts of hope this month x

MrsS147 · 05/07/2019 12:03

Welcome @flossy12 👋🏻

@FairyDustSprinkles you can only really confirm it from BBT which is why I say I’m either 6 or 7dpo today! Last month my BBT went up the day after my positive OPK so I must have ovulated the same day, but this month might have been different (don’t know for sure since not temping!). I’d be 7dpo if I ov’d the same day or 6dpo if the day after. It can happen any time from 12-36 hours after a positive OPK I think!

emmar88 · 05/07/2019 13:55

Hi,

8dpo and feel nauseas and crampy, too early to feel like this? Maybe just a coincidence!

FairyDustSprinkles · 05/07/2019 14:23

@UnapologeticallyUnsociable I haven't tried tempting yet as knowing me I will forget to keep on top of it . Did the GP tell you how long it would take for the referral to the clinic ?

OP posts:
FairyDustSprinkles · 05/07/2019 14:28

Welcome @emmar88 ooooo let's hope they are good signs of a little baby forming ! Do u usually get nauseous? I'm crampy today and still ravenous Hmm

MrsS147 · 05/07/2019 17:04

Welcome @emmar88 👋🏻
Hopefully it’s a positive sign for you! I am feeling very unpregnant just now! I’m only 6/7dpo though, but I have nothing at all! Just wish the next week would hurry so I could know one way or another.

emmar88 · 05/07/2019 18:52

Thanks! I don't normally feel like this, feel heavy down there If you know what I mean! It's probably my mind playing tricks though!

FairyDustSprinkles · 06/07/2019 10:09

@emmar88 I'm having that full feeling too and just feel overall crap think it's PMS as I usually get it quite early around this time

OP posts:
UnapologeticallyUnsociable · 06/07/2019 20:38

@FairyDustSprinkles I don't temp either. I bought a thermometer but kept forgetting to do it before I got up 🙈 the initial doc didn't mention the waiting time but I have another appointment on Thursday so will definitely ask then and let you know x

FairyDustSprinkles · 07/07/2019 10:33

Awful period pains today so I'm not taking it as a good sign period is due next Sunday !

OP posts:
emmar88 · 09/07/2019 18:54

FairyDustSprinkles · 09/07/2019 19:44

OP posts:
emmar88 · 09/07/2019 19:45

I don't feel as bad today, I have felt sick but I'm putting that down to a bug. I'm going to test on Thursday I think, feels like a long wait ! X

Jadey31 · 09/07/2019 20:33

Hey ladies!

Hope you don't mind me joining in. First month TTC baby #1! CD19 and 9 days until AF is due. I've been on the pill for 10 years with regular breaks however this month been feeling very strange but I guess it's my body getting use to being off the pill. I keep getting weird twinges in my pelvis area, mainly my left side. Also feel really heavy down there and have been feeling quite nauseous but read that feeling nauseous is a sign of ovulation?

Nice to talk to MNers about this as don't want to talk to "real world" people cos I'm sick of people asking me and DH when we're going to have a baby (been married 7 years).

Xx

emmar88 · 09/07/2019 20:39

Hi Jadey, I've been feeling the exact same ! But I'm sure it's because I am being more conscious about how my body feels this month, maybe I feel like this every time I ovulate but I don't think about it !! I'm due AF in 9 days also and don't know when to take a test x

Jadey31 · 09/07/2019 21:22

Hi @emmar88 so frustrating isn't it! I had pregnancy tests delivered today and DH was teasing me saying I'll be testing in the morning ... he knows me so well lol! Going away for my brothers birthday next weekend when AF is due so when we get back I'll be 4 days late for my AF (hopefully!) then I'll test then. I don't want to get my hopes up cos I don't think I can go through this every month and this is our first month trying. When are you thinking of testing? X

emmar88 · 09/07/2019 21:27

@Jadey31 I know I was thinking how do people go through this every month, but I guess it's more normal to go through this for months then to fall pregnant first time around !! I think I'm going to test on Thursday, probably to premature but can't resist ! X

emmalou19 · 09/07/2019 21:29

Hi gals mind if I join? We're TTC #1 cycle 2 and never been more aware of my body than I was last cycle, so much symptom spotting! Such a ridiculous Google search history 😂 I'm 10dpo and determined not to test until I miss AF this month. Fingers crossed for all of you x

FairyDustSprinkles · 10/07/2019 06:41

@emmalou19 i am Exactly the same I am going to wait till period doesn't come as it's just horrible to test early and it's negative then you are thinking well maybe it's just too early so u test again !

OP posts:
FairyDustSprinkles · 10/07/2019 06:43

@Jadey31 hiya which tests did u order? I was just saying this to a friend yesterday that the waiting is torture haven't been TTC too long this is our third month and i am already annoyed and frustrated Grin

OP posts:
Jadey31 · 10/07/2019 21:06

@emmar88 we can do this 🙈🤣

@FairyDustSprinkles I bought the one step ultra quick ones from amazon. If you search pregnancy test on prime they're the best seller ones. They're like £2.98?! Not sure if they're any good but seen a few people use those and my friend recommended them too (she's currently 7.5 months pregnant) xx
