Could I be pregnant?! Help?!

Hi all, so basically me and my partner have been successfully using the withdrawal method now for the last two years. Over the last week, however, I have had cramping, sore nipples and some very slight nausea at night (literally nothing to keep me awake for too long). I know that cramping and sore boobs can be a sign that my period is on its way, but as of yet there has been no period just some of the typical symptoms that I get beforehand. I don't know if I have missed my period as my cycles can be quite long anyway, but I have had these symptoms for almost a week now and every day I expect my period to come but it doesn't. I know that there can be some similarities between early pregnancy symptoms and period symptoms. What do you think? I plan on taking a pregnancy test next week if there is still no period, but wanted to get you guys thoughts on this. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I'd test now if I was you. If you are expecting your period, you'd get a positive if it was positive. Pull out method is not completely reliable unfortunately.
Let us know. I hope it turns out well for you x

I would take a test now, if you’re getting nausea I would imagine you’d be pregnant enough for a test to show it. Good luck!

Withdrawal method is certainly not a reliable form of contraception as pre-cum also contains sperm.

So yes, you most certainly could be pregnant.

The only way to determine this for sure is by taking a test.

Good luck ❤️

Thanks, I think I will test x

@Buddyelf Thanks, I will test. Like I said, the nausea is very slight and only appeared on a couple of occasions but I will definitely test just in case

Good luck OP I hope you get the result you want!

@curlyhairdiva like you said the 'symptoms' of pg and PMs are similar so without doing a test I can't offer any more insight unfortunately. As others have said withdrawal is not a reliable method of contraception (I know people pregnant after doing it once or twice so you've done well doing it 2 years without pregnancy)
🤞🏻 you get the result you want

mommato3 · 03/07/2019 19:37

@curlyhairdiva did you test?

curlyhairdiva · 03/07/2019 19:46

Not yet, need to buy a test first! Experienced some spotting today and mild cramping. From your experiences, is this something that you could expect at just a couple of weeks after conception? Of course there's no way to know for sure until I test, so will keep you posted. Thanks to everyone whose inputted so far xx

Spotting and cramping can be signs of implantation. It's also something some women do experience in early pregnancy. Cramping more so as everything had to stretch etc. Good luck x

Did you text @curlyhairdiva x
