Anyone else want to jump on board the July bus? AF has just arrived for me after being 2 days late!

Anyway here's my info:

TTC: #2
Cycle: 3
Age: 37
CD01
AF/BFP due: 3rd July

Hoping this is our lucky month! Fingers crossed for everyone x

I thought I’d take a test this morning but a bfn 😭 I’ve had cramps on and off and tired all the time but having no idea of cycles it’s hard to know when to test...

I also ordered some peony and licorice which apparently is really good for getting your hormones balanced after the effects of the pill

GingerRogers84 · 29/06/2019 17:23

I don't know what's going on down there at the mo. I dtd every other day until recently and am at roughly 5 dpo. Have lots of cramping and browny/pink streaks in cm.
It's our first cycle of ttc baby 2 so are being relaxed at this stage.
I'm holiday so am definitely drinking but not to any kind of excess. They don't share your blood until a placenta is established so it's ok to drink until you see pink.
Good luck ladies!

mrssunshinexxx · 29/06/2019 17:44

@GingerRogers84 that sounds positive to me!

Do you temp or go off apps

GingerRogers84 · 29/06/2019 17:48

@mrssunshinexxx
Hi! Fingers crossed it is! Smile

I have a couple of apps on the go and they are within a day of each other for ovulation.
I've never temped or used ovulation sticks before in my last pregnancy.
I'll see how this turns out and might be tempted.
Symptom spotting is my current sport of choice! Ha Ha Grin

mrssunshinexxx · 29/06/2019 17:58

@GingerRogers84 I just use 2 apps at the moment but they have my fertile weeks very different so don't know what to think x

GingerRogers84 · 29/06/2019 18:24

@mrssunshinexxx

I kind of pay attention to the fw but tend to just attempt dtd every other day. I think if you've dtd enough you will be doing all you can for now!

I purposely left the pregnancy tests at home so I wouldn't be tempted during my holiday.

SLT90 · 29/06/2019 18:38

This is where we are at so far! Possibly in the 2WW now, although other apps said 28th and 29th for OV so may still DTD tonight if we can summon the energy! I think I have ovulated already though due to CM and CP.

Not too worried if it doesn't happen this month due to an upcoming holiday, but fingers crossed anyway🤞🤞

Cycle 2
Af due 28th July

Lauralozzle · 30/06/2019 08:28

@Abi58 congratulations!

@MissMooMoo congratulations!

Back home now from holiday (arrived yesterday evening). I've missed so much of this thread! Managed to catch up, I think.

I'm 11dpo today. Caved yesterday and did a test, as I've been having cramps/sore boobs that get worse in the evening. But, it was a BFN. Cheap Internet test though, and not a sensitive one, so I don't really know what I was expecting!

I've been having period-like cramps come and go consistently since Wednesday, which would make me 7dpo at that point. Feels like AF is around the corner, to be honest. According to 2 apps I'm late today, but I have another two apps that put my AF due date at Wednesday. That would be my longest cycle though to date, as I don't think I've started AF on cycle day 33 since after I came off the pill years ago!

Holiday was good though, it has kept my mind of the 2WW for a while.

Hopefully, we'll get some more BFP this month!

Hannah1925 · 30/06/2019 08:51

@lauralozzle I hope you had a lovely time ☺️ did you go anywhere nice?

I know the 12dpo feeling its horrible isn't it! Fingers crossed you get your BFP this month. What month are you on ttc?

Hannah x

Lauralozzle · 30/06/2019 13:17

@Hannah1925 we went to Cornwall for five nights. Had a great time, didn’t really think about 2WW too much (more in the morning as I was symptom spotting!) just enjoyed myself.

Yes, 11-12 dpo is a bit rubbish. I’m chalking the cramps/sore boobs to PMS - they feel huge, but it just feels like AF is around the corner. I’m 1 day late from my normal cycle, but I didn’t get a post opk until CD18 so I think I trust my later AF date as Wednesday. Bit early to be getting the cramps though - they feel exactly like AF ones that I get before I start spotting. I don’t usually get them for four days before it’s due though!

This is our first month TTC - so I’d be chuffed if I got a BFP but I don’t think it’s likely. Been off the pill for ages though, as it just didn’t agree with me!

Tamalama · 30/06/2019 13:31

So today marks the final day of af, which means I enter the crazy world of my fertile period and ovulation. Last night I went to a party and got majorly drunk (suffering for it today!) but that was the last of any alcohol now. Healthy living and lifestyle now that af has gone, fingers crossed this month it works...

mommato3 · 30/06/2019 14:01

9dpo here. Talk about torture! We came to the caravan last night for the night so temptation to test early averted for a couple of days! I'm sure my boobs were a little tender last night and they definitely seems to be when I took my bra off but not so bad today 🤷‍♀️ I'm gonna wait it out however as it won't do me any favours by not doing so but wish it would go quicker already. Too stressful is this ttc malarkey!!!!

Sorry to those who the witch got. 🤞 for those who are approaching witch days....

June1987 · 30/06/2019 18:13

Hi, how is everyone?!

5dpo and I just want to know now if it’s worked this month or not! Just want to test and just know. If only hey!

Have we got any positives here yet or is there nobody ready to test yet?

wannabemama0812 · 30/06/2019 18:36

@june1987

I’m trying to hold off testing until next weekend, when AF is due. I have some FRERs, so technically I could test sooner... but I’m not sure if that’s wise! Probably best to wait until I’m off work at the weekend to learn one way or the other and deal with the emotional fallout of it - either way! Although I do have a day off on Wednesday, so I might be tempted then... I’m desperately trying to avoid early testing though. I also wouldn’t want to know if I had a chemical pregnancy, so I’d rather let AF tell me if I’m not pregnant, than learn that I am pregnant but only for a few days, iyswim.

tiredmoma · 30/06/2019 18:52

@wannabemama0812 best to wait i think as once you start early testing thats you testing until AF/BFP

Im due AF tomorrow, but I shall be waiting until Wed to test if she hasnt came ive had a few period type pains but it really could be either so im just going to wait....

wannabemama0812 · 30/06/2019 19:10

@tiredmoma

You’re right! It’s hard isn’t it. Until then, I’ll just watch pregnancy test videos on YouTube... 🙈😅

PeanutButter19 · 30/06/2019 19:55

Help me out ladies I think this is the darkest I’ve got on an ovulation test... could I finally be near a positive?!

July bus
Hannah1925 · 30/06/2019 20:19

@june1987 I'm 6dpo and feel so down about it but trying to be positive! Since 3dpo I've had sore nipples, as in wearing a seat belt hurts them. Don't know what's going on this month.

@wannabemama0812 I'm going to test next weekend too! Currently 6dpo. This week is going to drag and gotto make sure I'm not stressing out!

Such a long drag!!!

Hannah1925 · 30/06/2019 20:20

@peanutbutter19 I would take that as a positive! X

mrssunshinexxx · 30/06/2019 20:39

@Hannah1925 I would be pretty excited if that was me x

PeanutButter19 · 30/06/2019 20:56

@Hannah1925 hopefully, would be a lot easier to start ttc properly if my cycles actually come back 🥰

Hannah1925 · 30/06/2019 20:59

@mrssunshinexxx do you think it's a good sign? Is it not too early xx

mrssunshinexxx · 30/06/2019 21:01

@Hannah1925 I'm not sure everyone is different I have symptom spotted for last 3 months and nothing has come of it a lot of people say you don't get symptoms til 6/8 weeks but fingers crossed for you it means something ! X
